Racehel Weisz (Constantine, The Mummy, About A Boy) filmed parts of her upcoming movie, My Blueberry Nights, in Memphis, TN last week and over the weekend. My Blueberry Nights will be director Wong Kar-wai’s first English film and will star Norah Jones supported by Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, Ed Harris, and Kevin Spacey.

Here’s the film synopsis:

Based on a short film that Wong shot in Hong Kong, this sees a shopkeeper fall for a mysterious female client who eats blueberry pies. Jones stars as a young woman who travels across America to find the true meaning of love, encountering offbeat characters along the way.

The movie is supposed to be in the format of a "road movie", a description used for a film where the main setting/location is on the road and/or traveling.

The film does not have a solid release date yet, but it is scheduled to be released sometime in 2007.

Rachel Weisz looked positively stunning this past Friday sporting new wavy locks and highlights.  Her makeup looks great too!  Rachel, 35, was spotted in SoHo carrying her bundled up two-month-old son Henry Chance (right) during the day and hubby director Darren Aronofsky (pictured above pushing the Stokke 2006 Xplory Stroller Complete in Black) joined the two of them later in the evening (left). Rachel Weisz was spotted again carrying her two-month-old son Henry Chance in a denim New Native sling around TriBeCa. The 35-year-old Oscar winner is engaged to 37-year-old director Darren Aronofsky (pictured above pushing the family Stokke 2006 Xplory Stroller Complete in Black). The Fountain is an odyssey about one man’s thousand-year struggle to save the woman he loves. His epic journey begins in 16th century Spain, where conquistador Tomas Creo (Hugh Jackman) commences his search for the Tree of Life, the legendary entity believed to grant eternal life to those who drink of its sap. As modern-day scientist Tommy Creo, he desperately struggles to find a cure for the cancer that is killing his beloved wife Isabel (Rachel Weisz). Traveling through deep space as a 26th century astronaut, Tom begins to grasp the mysteries of life that have consumed him for more than a century.

New York, NY ::  Rachel Weisz was recently spotted carrying her two-month-old bundle of joy, son Henry Chance, in a denim New Native sling.  (Rachel Weisz paired a patterened lavendar summer dress with flip-flops.) The mother-son team loaded up the family Jeep right outside their Manhattan apartment this past Saturday. The 35-year-old Oscar winner is engaged to 37-year-old director Darren Aronofsky (pictured above).   More pictures in the gallery!

New York, NY :: I hope I’m not the only one who’s really enjoyed The Mummy franchise so far.  Just this past week, Rachel Weisz and Brendan Fraser announced that they will be reprising their roles in The Mummy 3 (I don’t count The Scorpion King as part of the franchise).  The film will visit 1940’s China and focus on Emperor Qin Shihuang, who had the greatest and longest-lasting influence throughout Chinese history.  Above is recent pictures of Rachel Weisz carrying one-month-old Henry Chance to the hair salon this past Tuesday.  To the right looks like what might be the after effects of the Rachel’s makeover magic.  More pictures in the gallery!

New York, NY :: Sling back, sling back.  New mom Rachel Weisz was spotted carrying her (almost) one-month-old son Henry Chance Aronofsky in a denim baby sling this past Tuesday afternoon. The 35-year-old Oscar winner took the time to visit the set of My Blueberry Nights and chat with director Wong Kar Wai.  No word on when she’s schedule to head back to work but Rachel is set to star in My Blueberry Nights alongside Jude Law, Natalie Portman, and Norah Jones. Rachel gave birth to baby Henry — fathered by filmmaker fiancé Darren Aronofsky — on Wednesday, May 31st.  More pictures in the gallery including Norah Jones on set with WKW!
