Rainn Wilson as Lucy Lawless as Xena: Warrior Princess

The Office star Rainn Wilson looks frackin’ hilarious as Xena: Warrior Princess, who was originally played by Lucy Lawless.

Rainn tells Entertainment Weekly, “I always watched Xena because it was oddly titillating, and I kept wanting to see more cleavage. I wanted it to be Baywatch with swords but it never quite went in that direction.”

He adds, “[I look like] the chunky girl from Heart… Basically, I look like a ravishing lesbian. Don’t you?”

Pick up the latest issue of EW to see Rainn impersonating MacGyver, Star Trek’s Captain Picard, and The Sopranos’ Paulie Walnuts.

The Office ‘EW’ Covers

The stars of The Office are on multiple cover of Entertainment Weekly this week — Jenna Fischer & John Krasinski, BJ Novak & Mindy Kaling, Rainn Wilson & Angela Kinsey and Steve Carell & Melora Hardin. Here are some snippets from the cover feature:

– Kooky crank Creed (Creed Bratton) and Darryl from the warehouse (Craig Robinson) have been upgraded to series regulars.
Rashida Jones is slated to return for two episodes to tie up her story line as Jim’s awesome but not-true love Karen, before she disappears into her new Fox midseason comedy, Unhitched.
– What about Jim (Krasinski) and Pam (Fischer)? Fischer uses the word ”courtship” in reference to the next phase of their relationship — ”There’s something about Jim and Pam that is true love personified in a TV show,” she says sweetly — while bemoaning how painful it is to stare up at the much taller Krasinski after breaking bones in her back in a fall during the off-season. Daniels, of course, is vague, making reference only to ”a soap opera-y thing that I’m gonna let be a surprise.” We nod, smile, and think to ourselves: What is this, Lost?
