Rihanna: ‘Wait Your Turn’ Single Cover!

Check out the sexy single cover for Rihanna’s catchy song “Wait Your Turn.”

Yesterday, Rihanna’s full interview aired on 20/20. After being assaulted by Chris Brown in February, Rihanna went back to him. Here’s her explanation of why she did that: “Lying to yourself again, [I thought], what is he going through? I had to protect him. The whole world hates him now. His fans, his career, he lost me—I just need to let him know don’t do anything stupid.”

Rihanna: Chris Brown’s Eyes Had No Soul

Rihanna opens up to Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America on Friday (November 6) about the night she was physically assaulted.

The 21-year-old singer spoke about the fear she felt, wanting to protect ex-boyfriend Chris Brown from scrutiny and their future…

On what she was thinking during the event: “All I kept thinking the whole time - when’s it going to stop? He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him.”

On wanting to protect Chris: “I had to protect him. I thought that I had to let him know, don’t do anything crazy. Like just hang in there…The whole world hates him now. His fans, his career. He just, he lost me, I just need to let him know; don’t do anything stupid …I’m not saying that’s an excuse for me to go back, but this is what I was thinking about.”

On their future together: “I don’t have a desire at all to be with him… I can’t see how we … would get back together, but I’m also not God and I can’t predict the future.”

Rihanna Hits Wonderland, Talks Assault

Rihanna sneaks out the backdoor of Wonderland nightclub in Los Angeles on Wednesday (November 4).

Earlier this morning, the 21-year-old pop sensation spoke to Good Morning America’s Diane Sawyer about the February assault.

On being attached by Chris Brown: “That’s embarrassing that that’s the type of person that I fell in love with. So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience.”

On admitting her she made a mistake by going back to Chris: “I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong. But again … I’m a human being and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I’m not perfect… It’s completely normal to go back. It’s not right. I learned the hard way, but again, this is what I want people to know. When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn’t be held responsible for going back… Even if Chris never hit me again, who is to say that their boyfriend won’t? Who’s to say that they won’t kill these girls? These are young girls and I just didn’t realize how much of an impact I had on these girls’ lives until that happened.”

During the interview, Rihanna acknowledges that Chris held her in a headlock twice that night and bit her on the ear and fingers. In August, he was sentenced to five years of probation, six months of community service and one year of domestic violence counseling.

Rihanna’s new album Rated R will be available in stores on Nov. 23.

On her message to young women: “My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.”

On her personal growth over the past year: “I am stronger, wiser and more aware. You don’t realize how much your decisions affect people you don’t even know, like fans.”

On her new album: “I’ve put everything I’ve wanted to say for the past eight months into my music. [My new album Rated R] is super fearless-which is exactly how I feel right now. I am in a really good place.”
