Rihanna rocks the red carpet with a new set of curls and a white form-fitting Herve Leger dress at the 2007 BET Awards on Tuesday at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Calif. The songbird accessorized with Christian Louboutin shoes, earrings and a ring from Bochic, and a Campise necklace.

Alongside Chris Brown, the 19-year-old R&B singer presented Jennifer Hudson with the Best Actress Award at the 2007 BET Awards.

Chris also recently made a remix of Rihanna’s hit song “Umbrella” called “Cinderella”.

The chorus goes “You can be my Cinder-ellla -ella -ella -ey -ey -ey…”

Rihanna hangs her ProportionofBlu denim pants down low, flashing her “I ‘heart’ D&G” underwear for all the world to see on Saturday in NYC’s SoHo.

The 19-year-old Barbados babe also helped spread the message of world peace, wearing a “MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR” t-shirt during her shopping excursion with friends.

Rihanna and her gal pals stopped by the Betsey Johnson, BCBG Max Azria and Chanel stores.

The Umbrella singer also pulled out her own camera and started to take pictures of paparazzi taking photos of her.

Rihanna kills it at the Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Must-List Party at Gotham Hall on Thursday in New York City. Spectacular Aurelio Costarella minidress and fantastic fuchsia pumps!

The 20-year-old R&B singer is even featured in this week’s issue of EW. Here’s a snippet:

What’s it like when you go back to visit Barbados these days? Do you still have a lot of friends there? Are people mostly happy for you or do you get hated on a lot? A lot of them hate me, but a lot of them love me. I don’t really let the ones that hate me stop me from doing what I wanna do. They always have something to say about what I’m wearing, what I’m not wearing, like in the ”Umbrella” video. If I wear a swimsuit to the beach, it’s a problem, they put it on the front of the newspaper and call into programs. It really annoys me when people that I try to represent and I try to put them on the map as much as I can — you know, I didn’t have to put Tridents in my videos.

Put what in your videos? Trident, which is the symbol of the flag. I didn’t have to talk about them. I didn’t have to even mention that I’m from Barbados. But I do and people kind of take it for granted. They hate me. They talk s— about me all the time. But I’m like, ”Whatever. I’m still doing this cause I love to do it and you’re not going to stop me.”

Barbados babe Rihanna recently released the music video for “Shut Up and Drive,” the second single off her album Good Girl Gone Bad. Her first single “Umbrella” was a bona fide smash hit. This one’s sure to blow up the charts as well!

It was just revealed that if you want to date Rihanna, you have to go through Jay-Z first! Rihanna opened up to People at the “Celebrity Legs of a Goddness” event about Jay-Z, who discovered her and signed her to his Def Jam label.

On Jay-Z screening her potential suitors: “I just found out from a mutual friend that guys will talk to Jay first before they try to approach me.”

On how much of father figure Jay-Z is: “He’s very protective. Jay has my best interests in mind. If it’s a good guy I know Jay won’t shut him down. But if he’s not, Jay will be like, ‘No, no, no.’ ”

On the guys who have tried to date her:”He actually never tells me. I have no clue who they are and I guess I’ll never know.”

On the guys she prefers: “Tall guys who have a sense of humor, love to laugh, have a good time and good conversation,”

On the perfect date: “Low key, just hanging out and watching a movie.”

Rihanna strikes some sexy (and some strange) poses in the July 207 Music issue of Elle Magazine. Anyone want to enlighten us as to what she’s wearing on her head in the main image?

On her favorite producer: “Timbaland [is a] genius. He takes the work seriously without taking it too seriously.”

On her defining pop star moment: “I’ve had a few encounters with fans who start crying, and that freaks me out because I don’t know what to do. One girl in Barbados started screaming when we met, and the more I hugged her, the more she was screaming. I was like, Uh-oh.”

On her style influences: “I’m influenced a lot by Japanese girls, not just in Tokyo, but all over. They walk down the street looking like they’re going to shoot a video with the hair, makeup, heels and tiny, tiny shorts. It’s crazy.”

On her dream collaborator: “I’d love to record with André 3000. He’s funky, whether it’s production-wise or it’s him rapping. ‘Hey Ya!’ is one of my favorite songs, but you know what I really love? His remix of ‘Walk It Out.’”

Kanye West walks hand-in-hand with fiance Alexis Phifer into his 30th birthday bash on Thursday at the Louis Vuitton Fifth Avenue store in New York City. The rapper superstar dressed in half-formal/half-casual attire — tux top and tie with jeans and sneakers!

On his way into the party, Kanye told People: “I’m in my 20s as we speak right now, but at midnight, I’ll be 30. I’m already 30 in Japan and London and everywhere else.”

Other celebrity guests included: Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Pharrell Wiliams, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson
