Rose McGowan’s black and blue outfit seem apropos given her injured left foot as she exits the Neil George salon in Beverly Hills carrying her bulldog in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The 34-year-old former Charmed star broke her left foot running downstairs to meet her trainer!

Rose McGowan rocks out her foot cast at the Dolce and Gabanna party at Baoli, Port Canto during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Friday in Cannes, France.

Apparently the 34-year-old former Charmed star was running downstairs to meet her trainer and broke her left foot.

“I thought I’d kept my trainer waiting too long downstairs, so I was running and my foot just hit the edge of the doorway,” Rose told People. “It just happens to be stone and that didn’t work out well! But I did not miss my workout. I stuck ice on it, did my upper body, and then went to the hospital.”

Added McGowan, “The doctor thought I was crying because I was in pain but I told him it was because I have to go to Cannes and I refuse to wear flats.”

Rose McGowan makes an elegant arrival at amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS 2008 benefit held at Le Moulin de Mougins during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday in Mougins, France.

The 34-year-old actress wore a fantastically painted organza fifties-fantasy ball gown by Dolce & Gabbana.

The former Charmed star was recently honored along with Jason Lee at the San Francisco International Film Festival’s Midnight Awards.

The crowd’s loudest response was for McGowan’s scene in Grindhouse: Planet Terror, in which she mows down aliens with her machine-gun leg.

Rose, 34, has an upcoming film called Fifty Dead Men Walking, based on the life of British spy Martin McGartland.

“I really don’t think you can go wrong with Fendi,” Rose said at the reopening. “You’d be hard-pressed to go wrong with Fendi. I feel very lucky to be wearing this fabulous little gown. I’m a shoe and bag girl but this gown could be one of my favorites I’ve ever worn. It reminds me of being on top of a music box.”

Rose, 34, is still engaged to Mexican-American director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Grindhouse).
