Will Ferrell and British comedian Russell Brand are snapped entering a private recording studio in Hollywood on Thursday afternoon.

There’s no word yet on what sort of collaboration the comedic duo might have in the works.

Will, 41, has several projects coming up, including a comedy remake of the 70s TV series Land of the Lost (to be released next July). He’ll also take on the the role of Watson to Sacha Baron Cohen’s Sherlock Holmes in an upcoming comedy.

After 2008 MTV VMAs host Russell Brand took a shot at the Jonas Brothers for their purity rings, the teen sensation spoke to the BBC.

Nick Jonas said, “For us it’s cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman.” Brand also apologized to the trio after the remarks after the event.

Kevin also added, “We had a lot of friends there and everybody’s so nice. We had a good time!”

Despite the verbal jabs, Nick showed class and complimented Brand on his hosting job saying, “I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O’Brien and thought he was hilarious.”

Paris Hilton and Jordin Sparks also spoke up for the band of brothers.

Pink is set to perform her new single, “Say What,” off her album Funhouse. Kid Rock, Lil Wayne and the Jonas Brothers also have been added to the list of performers at this year’s show. The VMAs will be hosted by Russell Brand and will air live on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9PM Live ET/Tape Delayed PT.

“It was mostly ad-libbed, with Russell asking her for advice about hosting the show,” a source tells E!. “There’s also a 9,000-pound elephant in it, as in ‘the elephant in the room.’ ”

The VMAs will air live from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles and one-time only in its original format on Sunday, September 7, 2008 @ 9PM (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT).

Kristen Bell, the former babe teenage sleuth on Veronica Mars, films scenes with bed head and bare feet on Thursday on the Los Angeles set of her new romantic comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Bell, 26, shot scenes alongside her 32-year-old co-star Russell Brand (English radio and television personality), who donned some tight leather pants and some crazy-colored tops. (Kristen also filmed scenes for this same movie in Hawaii about a month ago in a bikini.)

Bell will also be lending her voice talents as the narrator of the upcoming TV series Gossip Girl, The CW’s reincarnation of The O.C. (also created by mastermind Josh Schwartz).
