The recently engaged 25-year-old singer revealed that she found out Russell was going to propose to her via Google. “Unfortunately, I still Google myself sometimes,” she admitted on the red carpet. “I saw it on Google alerts. I’m going to be honest!”

After the Grammys, Katy Twittered, “tonight was lovely, don’t think I’ll be sleepin on 2010, it’s time to show them aces eh! Goodnight everyone :)”

Katy Perry hosts the Waking Up In Vegas party at Haze Nightclub at the Aria Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday (January 23).

The 25-year-old singer wore a Camille Flawless dress and Lisa Freede jewels.

Earlier that day, Katy and fiance Russell Brand went to lunch to shop for furniture along Melrose Avenue. Katy’s parents, Keith and Mary Hudson met Russell before Christmas and now say that he has won them over. “He’s part of the family,” they both said during a dinner to celebrate the engagement in LA earlier this week.

“It was a lovely evening, for close friends and family. It was thrown mainly for Russell’s benefit - a chance for him to meet Katy’s relatives and friends, including her old school chums. He was incredibly nervous,” a source told The Mirror.

Katy Perry keeps out of the rain in a cute kitten umbrella as she leaves the gym on Tuesday (January 19) in Hollywood.

Later that day, the 25-year-old singer met up with her fiance, comedian Russell Brand, to take a look at the merchandise at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Russell recently tweeted that he’s not a fan of the nasty weather L.A.’s been having over the past week. “Raining in La- this is not the deal,” he tweeted. “London has snow. SNOW! This better be Hollywood rain that tastes of lemonade and gives superpowers.”

Newly engaged couple Katy Perry and Russell Brand stay attached at the hip (and lap) for The Art of Elysium’s 3rd Annual Black Tie “Heaven” Charity Gala on Saturday (January 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Ms. Kitty Purry chose a white one-shoulder evening gown from Hussein Chalayan, Alexandre Birman heels and a Judith Leiber clutch.

“That was lovely,” Katy tweeted after the event. “Thank you @TheArtofElysium you make a difference in peoples lives.”

Katy Perry is engaged to British funnyman Russell Brand, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

Katy, 25, and Russell, 34, got engaged on New Year’s Eve in India, where he proposed to her in a tent at the foot of a mountain.

After the engagement, Russell was quoted by UK’s The Sun as texting, “It’s true. Much love.”

Earlier today, Katy, who is on Glamour’s latest cover, tweeted, “So when do I start walking the streets naked singing that Alanis [Morrisette] song?”

Congrats to the happy couple!

Russell Brand and Katy Perry have been enjoying their vacation in Agra, India on Tuesday (December 29).

While visiting the Taj Mahal, Katy, 25, jokingly tweeted “He built this for me…” and added a picture of the romantic duo in front of the famous monument.

Arguably one of the greatest symbols of love, the Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
