Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe appeared on camera together for the very first time. The Aussie pair interview each other at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Here’s a mini-transcript of their conversation together:

Russell: So, how’s Keith doing at the moment?
Nicole: Keith’s doing very well. Yeah. We’ve, I mean we’ve been through a lot. … We’ve dug really deep. Three months into our marriage we had to dig really deep. And that’s what we’re doing. And we’re in the process of doing it.
Russell: It’s very courageous of him to just pack up his toothbrush and go to rehab. He must have you at the very forefront of everything if he’s thinking to just do that.
Nicole: You’ll make me cry now so stop it!
Russell: No, seriously, I think you need to see it from that perspective.
Nicole: I do.
Russell: ‘Cause he’s a very, you know, he’s a proud man. He’s a very creative soul and for [him] to just go, “Right, I need to do this thing for the rest of my life to progress.” That’s pretty cool.
Nicole: It is.
Russell: Are you going to have a baby?
Nicole: I hope so.
Russell: Are you going to carry a baby?
Nicole: Would you stop it? This is really dangerous territory! Yes, I would hope so. Anything else you want to ask, Russell?
Russell: Well, I just want to see you walking around barefoot and pregnant.
Nicole: I’d like to see that, too.

Nicole won an Oscar in 2003 for The Hours. Russell took home the coveted statue in 2000 for his work in Gladiator.

Russell Crowe makes a daily habit of biking through the streets of Woolloomooloo, Australia, with his mates on Thursday morning. The 42-year-old Academy award winning actor stops off for a cell phone chat and a cigarette.

I would have never known these were different pictures than yesterday’s if it were not for the different gloves.

And there is much irony in using biking as a form of exercise and then stopping to break for a ciggy…

Aussie actor Russell Crowe grins at paparazzi while bicycling down under with some pals in Woolloomooloo, Australia, on Tuesday afternoon.

The 42-year-old actor will be narrating and producing a documentary called The Bra Boys, as told through eyes of members of the Bra Boys. The Bra Boys is a film about the cultural evolution of the inner-Sydney beachside suburb of Maroubra and the social struggle of its youth – the tattooed and much maligned surf community known as the Bra Boys. Hits Australian theaters on March 15.

Russell Crowe will be honored with an Excellence in Entertainment Award at Australia Week’s signature event, Penfolds Icon Black Tie Gala. The gala is a red carpet event that honors high profile individuals for significant contributions in their respective industries and for excellence in promoting Australia in the United States. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza (2025 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles) this Sunday with red carpet arrivals starting at 6PM.

Also at the event, Naomi Watts will receive an Excellence in Film Award and Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin will be honored for his work in tourism and nature conservation with a special tribute and presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Russell Crowe was in Rome, Italy doing press for his upcoming film, A Good Year, which opens in theaters nationwide Nov. 10. Russell, 42, spent his off-time exploring the Pantheon with his wife Danielle Spencer and their son Charles Crowe (he turns 3 in December). More pictures in the gallery!

Russell Crowe was spotted working at the same Manhattan courthouse where his assault case was handled. (Remember when he was charged with hitting a hotel employee with a telephone?) Russell, 42, and co-star Denzel Washington, 51, filmed scenes for their new flick, American Gangster. Russell was seen carrying around his son Charles, almost 3, on the set during film breaks this past Monday, September 18th. More pictures in the gallery!

It would seem that Russell Crowe’s character in the upcoming crime thriller American Gangster has a little problem with devoting himself to one religion. While filming different scenes for the movie, Russell was seen sporting gold necklaces with different pendants on them: a Crucifix (principal symbol of the Christian religion) and the Star of David (generally recognized symbol of Judaism). Russell, 42, plays tough cop Detective Ritchie Roberts in 1970’s Harlem who busts up a drug ring. American Gangster is set for 2007 release.  More pictures in the gallery!
