Mandy Moore shops up a storm at Jeffrey and Scoop and then eats lunch at Pastis in New York’s Meatpacking District on Thursday.

The 24-year-old singer/actress then hailed a cab back home and covered up after being asked questions about her recent breakup with Ryan Adams.

“Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life,” Ryan told OK! in a statement. “I am grateful for our friendship and how it allowed us both to grow and learn more.”

“Unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi and have found the best antidote to that sort of nonsense is staying behind the guitar and typewriter, staying close to my support group of friends and band mates and not engaging in activities that prevent me from taking care of myself or others,” he said.

The 24-year-old has previously been linked romantically with actors Zach Braff and Wilmer Valderrama, musicians Greg Laswell and Ryan Adams, tennis star Andy Roddick, and mixed-martial arts fighter Georges St. Pierre.

Mandy was recently at the CDFA Fashion Awards, where she wore a similar hairstyle to Hilary Duff, who was also at the event.

Mandy Moore has been secretly been seeing rocker Ryan Adams since December, according to In Touch.

“Ryan and Mandy have been dating for months,” an insider says. “But he doesn’t like the attention and absolutely hates all of the Hollywood type stuff or being photographed.”

“I’m a single girl,” Mandy, 23, said in February. “[But I like guys who are] musically inclined or involved or obsessed.”
