Ryan Phillippe is hitting the talk show circuit this week to promote his film Flag of Our Fathers, which opens this Friday, Oct. 20. Later this week, Ryan, 32, be attending a screening of FOOF at the New Orleans WWII Museum. Check out Part I of Ryan Phillippe’s guest appearance on Regis & Kelly, where he reveals he will be opening up a restaurant in Delaware with his brother-in-law. Check out Part II of the interview after the jump, where he describes one special man: “And physically so. The guy is a specimen, I’m telling you. He really is. You feel like less of a man just being in his presence.”

Ryan Philippe looked his usual studly self yesterday filming his new movie “Untitled Kimberly Pierce Project” (the clapper board even reads U.K.P.P.). Ryan, 32, filmed scenes with newcomer Abbie Cornish, 24, in NYC’s Times Square. More pictures in the gallery!

Ryan supposedly plays soldier Brandon, who returns back home in Texas after fighting in Iraq and refuses to return to battle despite the government mandate requiring him to do so. But the filming in NYC doesn’t really match up with that storyline but who knows! A few details: Ryan’s character talks on a public payphone, browses through a postcard rack, and has a gash on his forehead. The “Untitled Kimberly Pierce Project” is set for a 2007 release.

Clint Eastwood premiered his latest and greatest film, Flags of Our Fathers, in Los Angeles last night at the Academy Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif. Pretty boys Ryan Phillippe and Channing Tatum play opposite one another in 2007’s Untitled Kimberly Peirce Project (reportedly titled Stop-Loss) as soldiers in Iraq.  Ryan, 31, and Channing, 26, were spotted filming a parade scene for the movie this past Monday in downtown Lockhart, a little town about 30 miles south of Austin, Texas.  Ryan was kind enough to take photos with marching band members between takes. More pictures in the gallery including director Kimberly Peirce going over production notes with actress Abbie Cornish during the parade filming!
