Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman will hit the big screen together in The Change-Up, a body-switching comedy written by the screenwriters of The Hangover!

The story is about “a responsible family man (Bateman) who switches bodies with his best friend, a lazy man-child (Reynolds),” according to Variety.

Ryan has a busy year ahead of him - he recently signed on to lend his voice to The Croods with Nicolas Cage and will star opposite Anna Faris in the forthcoming film TMI.

Jason will star opposite Jennifer Aniston this August in The Switch, formerly entitled The Baster!

Ryan Reynolds hits the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars, held at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday (March 7) in Hollywood.

The 33-year-old actor, who’s presenting this evening, chose a single-breasted, black tuxedo with a grosgrain peak-lapel, white pique front shirt with onyx and yellow gold cufflinks and studs, black grosgrain cummerbund and bowtie, and black patent leather lace-up evening shoes, all by Tom Ford.

Ryan told USA Today that work on Green Lantern is “a long haul and very physical”. He’ll be filming until August!

A whole slew of Hollywood hunks just signed on to present at the 2010 Oscars Ceremony.

Taking to the podium to present include Gerard Butler, Bradley Cooper, Tom Ford, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Pine, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Reynolds and Sam Worthington. A bunch of female hotties set to present at the ceremony were announced yesterday.

The 2010 Academy Awards will air Sunday (March 7) at 8/7c on ABC. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will serve as co-hosts of the event.

Ryan Reynolds and Nicolas Cage are about to get animated!

The duo will star in DreamWorks’ forthcoming animated feature, The Croods, a comedy about two cavemen - Crug, the patriarch (Cage) and an outsider (Reynolds) - who both must deal with the aftermath of an earthquake.

“While attempting to navigate the dangerous and unfamiliar world, Crug butts heads with Reynolds‘ nomad, who charms Crug’s clan — especially his eldest daughter — with his (relatively) modern-minded ways,” Variety writes.

The film is set to be released in March of 2012!

HUGO BOSS Fragrances has signed Ryan Reynolds as the face of its new male fragrances.

The 33-year-old actor shared via a statement, “BOSS is a brand that not only represents classic style and sophistication, but inspires men to work hard, embrace opportunities and strive for success in all aspect of their lives. I’m honored BOSS invited me to be the face of its new men’s fragrance.”

Ryan is set to play the lead role of superhero Hal Jordan in The Green Lantern, out June 2011. He can currently be seen starring in Buried, a Spanish indie thriller directed by Rodrigo Cortes, which has been receiving rave reviews since debuting at the Sundance Film Festival last month.

Saturday night, Ryan Reynolds and the crew of Buried ate at the T-Mobile myTouch Diner for their pre-premiere dinner. Ryan celebrated with friends and called it an early night - he had to catch an early flight to NYC to see wife Scarlett Johansson in A View From The Bridge!

Ryan Reynolds looks great as he goes out in West Hollywood on Tuesday (January 19).

The 33-year-old Canadian actor made a quick run to a gas station and ate dinner out at hotspot Madeo.

Ryan’s forthcoming film, Buried, is creating buzz as Hollywood heads to Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival - Movieline listed the film as one of the five most likely to create a bidding war at the fest!

Buried tells the story of a contractor in Iraq who’s kidnapped and buried alive and must find his way out before it’s too late.

Ryan Reynolds suits up for IFP’s Gotham Independent Film Awards at New York City’s Cipriani, Wall Street on Monday (November 30).

The 33-year-old actor celebrated the independent filmmaking community and checked out the first honors of the hectic awards season.

Ryan recently spoke to MTV about his role in The Green Lantern and what he hopes audiences will take away from the film.

“I think you walk away from this first film, and the moments that you remember and the moments that mean so much to you, not unlike Iron Man, are the moments where the guy’s not in the suit,” he said.

“That, to me, is the tough thing to get right,” Ryan continued. “And that’s something that [Iron Man] did get right.

“You see why this guy’s in the suit, and that’s what’s interesting to me. Not that he is in the suit, but why.”
