Skateboard champ Ryan Sheckler arrives at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday.
English comedian Russell Brand will host the event while Britney Spears will be opening up the night with a surprise performance. Kaba Modern and Fanny Pak of America’s Best Dance Crew will battle it out to determine who will present the Best Dancing in a Video award.
Pro skater Ryan Sheckler goes shirtless and excites the ladies at Teen Vogue’s Fashion Live! event at Huntington Beach 2008 late last week at Huntington Pier in Huntington, Calif. Jesse MCartney also performed at the event.
Earlier this month, MTV started filming for his third season of the popular reality show Life of Ryan.
“I think of myself as a skateboarder first and a guy on TV second,” Ryan has said. “I work harder than anyone in the business. I’ve learned a lot by hanging around (skateboard legend) Tony Hawk. He has my best interests at heart. I’m learning about the business side from him.”
