Levi Johnston Slams Sarah Palin — Again!

Levi Johnston is once again dissing her former future mother-in-law (and grandmother of his son) Sarah Palin. Here’s what the 18-year-old told Vanity Fair:

On Sarah putting her career above her family: “Even before she was nominated [for VP] there wasn’t much parenting in that house. Sarah doesn’t cook, Todd doesn’t cook—the kids would do it all themselves: cook, clean, do the laundry, and get ready for school. Most of the time [my ex] Bristol would help her youngest sister with her homework, and I’d barbecue chicken or steak on the grill.”

On Sarah fighting with her husband, Todd, who slept in a separate room during the Republican National Convention: “There was a lot of talk of divorce in that house … times when Sarah and Todd would mention it and sound pretty serious.”

On Sarah asking her daughter Bristol to keep Bristol’s pregnancy a secret: “She told me that once Bristol had the baby she and Todd would adopt him. That way, she said, Bristol and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Sarah kept mentioning this plan. She was nagging—she wouldn’t give up. She would say, ‘So, are you gonna let me adopt him?’ We both kept telling her we were definitely not going to let her adopt the baby. I think Sarah wanted to make Bristol look good, and she didn’t want people to know that her 17-year-old daughter was going to have a kid.”

On Sarah upholding a fake reputation that she hunts and fishes: “She says she goes hunting and lives off animal meat — I’ve never seen it. I’ve never seen her touch a fishing pole. She had a gun in her bedroom and one day she asked me to show her how to shoot it. I asked her what kind of gun it was, and she said she didn’t know, because it was in a box under her bed.”

On Sarah in Alaska following the election: “Sarah was sad for a while. She walked around the house pouting [and] a week or two after she got back she started talking about how nice it would be to quit and write a book or do a show and make ‘triple the money.’ She would blatantly say, ‘I want to just take this money and quit being governor.’ She started to say it frequently, but she didn’t know how to do it. When she came home from work, it seemed like she was more and more stressed out.”

Levi Johnston: Gay Pin-Up Boy? Fine By Me!

Levi Johnston made headlines earlier this week for bringing comedian Kathy Griffin as his date to the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.

To discuss what happened, the 19-year-old father of Bristol Palin’s baby made an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night. Here’s what Levi said from Alaska via Skype:

On if he’s a cougar lover: “A little bit, yeah.”

On Sarah Palin being America’s favorite cougar: “Not my favorite, no.”

On if he’d ever pose nude: “It depends on the money, man. It’s gotta be right for that.”

On being a gay pin-up boy: “I think it’s great man. Um, I like my fans. Just another person.”

On if there were any gays in Wasilla, Alaska: “Oh yeah. We got gays in Wasilla, Anchorage. They’re all up here.”

Sarah Palin Denies Divorce Rumors

Sarah Palin is debunking rumors that she and her husband Todd are divorcing.

Her spokeswoman Meg Stapleton has slammed two Alaskan bloggers’ reports about infidelities on both sides, saying, “Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent ’story’ (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).”

Meg continued, “Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to ‘quit making things up.’ We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.”

Sarah Palin: The Farewell Speech

Sarah Palin officially steps down as governor of Alaska as she issues a farewell speech on Sunday (July 26) in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Right before Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell was sworn in as governor, the 45-year-old former Republican VP candidate said she was resigning “to chart a new course to advance the state”

Palin continued, “Now people who know me, they know how much I love this state … I feel it is my duty to avoid the unproductive, typical, politics-as-usual, lame-duck session in one’s last year in office. With this decision, now I will be able to fight even harder for you, for what is right and for the truth. And I have never felt you need a title to do that… I promised to steadfastly and doggedly guard the interests of this state as that grizzly guards her cubs…and I will keep that vow wherever that road may lead.”

“Our new governor has a very nice family too,” Palin added. “So leave his kids alone!”

Levi Johnston: Sarah Palin Resigned Over Money

Earlier this month, Sarah Palin announced her resignation as governor of Alaska. Now, her former future son-in-law (and father of her grandson) Levi Johnston is speaking to Today about it:

On how Palin had discussed quitting before: “She was talkin’ about how [being governor] is a very stressful job. After the campaign and things, we had tons of offers, from everybody out there; just all kinds of ridiculous things. There had been talk about, ‘It’d be nice to just take the money and run.’”

On the rumors that Palin is getting a $7 million advance for her book: “I’ve heard anything from $7 million to $9 million. It’s up there.”

On Palin changing after she lost the last election: “[She wasn't] as outgoing. I didn’t see the spark in her eyes about being governor… The fame got to her head. Just being up there and running for vice president, it’s totally different than governor. There’s cameras every day, she had secrets service… You name it. Seeing how she acted when it was all gone, I think it definitely got to her head.”

Sarah Palin Resigns as Alaska Governor

Sarah Palin officially announced on Friday (July 3) that she will be resigning as governor of Alaska.

The 45-year-old, who was known as ‘Sarah Barracuda’ in high school, will serve as governor until July 26 before she hands the position over to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell.

“We know we can affect positive change outside government at this moment in time on another scale and actually make a difference,” said Sarah in a news conference in her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. “I know when it’s time to pass the ball for victory.”
