SNL alum Tina Fey made her return to Saturday Night Live last night to spoof Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Fey’s former Weekend Update co-host Amy Poehler imitated Sen. Hillary Clinton.
With the accent, signature glasses and hair bun, Tina was pretty spot on.

Most celebrities are speaking out against Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, like Matt Damon who thinks she’s totally absurd.
Pamela Anderson, 41, was recently in Toronto speaking out against the abuse of animals in Hollywood. When asked by E! News Weekend Canada about Palin, she has some choice words for the Republican hopeful. The reporter asked Pam if she saw the recent Newsweek article, which showed a gigantic bear hide in the office of Palin’s house.
“I can’t stand her,” Pam blurted out. “She can suck it!”

Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford has the hots for Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin and he isn’t afraid to talk about it!
“I’m not gonna lie. Sarah Palin is quite attractive,” Chace gushed admitted Wednesday at the Stand Up For A Cure Concert Series at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Wednesday.
Maybe all that on-screen May-December romance is spilling into his personal life off-screen!
As for which candidate he is endorsing, Chace is keeping his mouth shut.
“I can’t talk politics,” he said.
Matt Damon just spoke out on Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin to The Associated Press. The 37-year-old actor compares her possibility of being President to a ‘really bad Disney movie’. Ouch!
Damon shared, “I think there’s a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that’s a really scary thing… I don’t know anything about her and in eight weeks, I don’t think I’m going to know anything about her. I know that she was a mayor of a really, really small town and she’s the governor for Alaska for less than two years. I just don’t understand. I think the pick was made for political purposes… Do the actuary tables and there’s a one out of three chance, if not more, that [John] McCain doesn’t survive his first term and it’ll be President Palin… It’s like a really bad Disney movie. The hockey mom, you know, ‘oh, I’m just a hockey mom’… and she’s facing down Vladimir Putin (of Russia)… It’s totally absurd… it’s a really terrifying possibility.”

Levi Johnston, the fiance of Bristol Palin, came out to watch her mom, vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, at last night’s Republican National Convention at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Bristol’s baby bump was on display and so was the ring (engagement ring?) on her left hand. Baby daddy Levi Johnston returned the favor in a more permanent way. He showed off a “Bristol” tattoo on his left ring finger.
Earlier in the day, Levi was seen with the entire Palin and McCain families at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Piper Palin, the 7-year-old daughter of Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin, licks her hand and applies a little spit shine to the soft head of younger brother Trig, 4 months.
The camera panned to Piper and Trig while Sarah gave her acceptance speech during the the Republican National Convention (RNC) at the Xcel Energy Center on Wednesday night in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Last night, the 44-year-old governor of Alaska accepted the GOP vice presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention and came out throwing punches at her opponent, Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
“We’ve all heard his dramatic speeches before devoted followers,” she said. “And there is much to like and admire about our opponent. But listening to him speak, it’s easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state senate.”
Palin continued, “This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word ‘victory’ except when he’s talking about his own campaign. But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed … when the roar of the crowd fades away … when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot - what exactly is our opponent’s plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he’s done turning back the waters and healing the planet? The answer is to make government bigger … take more of your money … give you more orders from Washington … and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world. America needs more energy … our opponent is against producing it.”

Republican presidental hopeful John McCain greets his running mate’s pregnant teenage daughter Bristol Palin and her fiancé Levi Johnston at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport on Wednesday in Bloomington, Minnesota. The entire Palin family was at the airport to greet McCain and his family as they arrived for the Republican National Convention.
