SNL Spoofs ‘Fast & Furious’

Funnyman Seth Rogen hosts Saturday Night Live on April 4 with musical guest French alternative rock band Phoenix.

During one of the comedy show’s sketches, the 26-year-old actor and SNL regular Andy Samberg Fast & Furious. Watch the hilarious spoof below!

Fast & Furious raced to the top at the box office this past weekend, pulling in a whopping $72.5 million. Monsters vs. Aliens finished in second place with $33.5 million and The Haunting in Connecticut scared up another $9.6 million.

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel Do SNL

Cute couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel make a surprise appearance during the Weekend News Update during the March 7th episode of Saturday Night Live.

Justin played Irving, the boyfriend of comic-strip character Cathy, played by SNL funnyman Andy Samberg. Jessica played the voluptuous femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, a character from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Later in the evening, the couple attended the SNL after-party at Salute! restaurant in New York City. They left the party holding hands.

Jonas Brothers & Alec Baldwin’s SNL Skit

The Jonas Brothers get silly with JJ and JJJ coasters while filming their MTV special, The Jonas Brothers Experience, airing Monday, February 23 @ 6PM ET/PT. Yes, they did cause an earthquake while filming at 30 Rock.

Last night, Kevin, Joe and Nick acted in a few sketches and performed two of their hit songs on Saturday Night Live — “Video Girl” and “Tonight

IT’S A HOEDOWN

SNL funny woman Kristen Wiig gives another spot-on impersonation of Today Show co-host Kathie Lee Gifford on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live.

Michaela Watkins takes on the role of Gifford’s co-host Hoda Kotb. The SNL host for the evening, actor Bradley Cooper, joins the pair for the second half of the sketch as a catwalk expert. Watch the hilarious clip below!

Saturday Night Live newcomer Abby Elliott impersonates mother-of-six Angelina Jolie during the “Weekend Update” of yesterday’s episode. Watch the video below and here’s the transcription:

Seth Meyers: It was revealed on Thursday that the California woman who gave birth to octuplets already has six other children. What? Angelina Jolie? What, what are you doing here?

Angelina Jolie: I heard someone had eight babies…does she want all of them?

SM: Yeah… I mean, I think she does, yes.

AJ: Where’s [your co-anchor Amy Poehler]?

SM: Oh, she left.

AJ: Did she take her baby with her?

SM: Yeah, she did.

AJ: Too bad, I could always use a new baby.

SM: So, um, are you excited about the Oscars?

AJ: Bye.


Angelina Jolie - ‘Saturday Night Live’ Weekend Update

Taylor Swift Scores SNL Gig

America’s Bestselling Album Artist of 2008 Taylor Swift will be this week’s musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

“I just found out that I get to play on SNL!!” the 19-year-old country crooner just confirmed. “January 10th! It’s my mom’s birthday, and I don’t think either of us would’ve believed you if you would’ve told us a few years ago that we’d get to spend her birthday in New York City — at Saturday Night Live! Wow. It’s pretty unreal.”

Later this week, Taylor is also expected to shoot he music video to her upcoming single, “White Horse”.

SNL airs Saturday @ 11:30PM ET/PT on NBC.

Michael Phelps on SNL — Turn On Your TV Now!

Don’t miss Olympics swimming champion Michael Phelps test out his comedic chops as host on tonight’s season premiere of Saturday Night Live!

“I was a little nervous coming into this whole thing, but I’ve actually started to get really, really excited,” Phelps said Thursday on a conference call from NYC. “I’m definitely looking forward to Saturday. This is a completely new experience for me, but something that is going to be pretty fun.”

Phelps follows in the athletic footsteps of such as LeBron James, Peyton Manning, Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan, who also hosted NBC’s late-night sketch show.

Lil’ Wayne is tonight’s musical guest.

The Japanese Version of ‘The Office’

The Office star Steve Carell hosted last night’s Saturday Night Live with musical guest Usher.

During the weekly SNL Digital Short, The Office creator Ricky Gervais introduced the Japanese inspiration for his British version of The Office, which he said is currently being ripped off by the Americans version.
