Former Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond, aka dorky Samuel “Screech” Powers, is writing a tell-all memoir about his days at Bayside High.

The book, titled Behind the Bell, hits shelves Sept. 29 via Montreal-based Transit Publishing. According to Us Weekly, the book promises sexual escapades among cast members, drug use, and hardcore partying that occurred throughout the nearly thirteen years he was a part of the hit sitcom franchise.

“This book is freaking incredible!” Dustin’s literary agent, Jarred Weisfeld, has said. “Everyone that reads it loves it, and [it] is truly one of my favorites of all time.”

Noticeably missing is Dustin Diamond, who played the nerdy Samuel “Screech” Powers. Maybe he was embarrassed of his 2006 sex tape Screeched, aka Saved by the Smell.

The reunion special covers “The hookups, the meltdowns, the memories: The cast reveals what was really going on… and what they think of each other now.”

Zack (real name: Mark-Paul Gosselaar) talks about what he’s been up to since his days at Bayside High School and his romance with high school sweetheart Kelly (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen). He even joins The Roots to recreate “The Zack Attack” band singing a classic SBTB tune. Love!!!

It’s been 16 years since Zack Morris ruled Bayside High, but Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 35, is still recognized most for his Saved by the Bell alter ego.

“That image will stay with me for my entire career,” Mark tells Life & Style. “But I’m not looking to shed the persona of Zack. I’m proud of the work I did.”

Mark, a husband and a dad of two, now stars as a public defender on TNT’s Raising the Bar and calls the role “different from anything that I’ve played or ever done in television.”

But don’t rule out a SBTB reunion. “Jimmy Fallon is trying to [reunite the cast],” Mark says. “We’re still discussing it.”
