Here are the latest stills for The Prestige starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Scarlett Johansson, David Bowie, and Michael Caine. I have super high hopes for this film, so I hope it doesn’t disappoint!

The Prestige was directed by Christopher Nolan (Memento, Batman Begins) and is out in theaters on Oct. 20. Check out the gallery for all the pictures… you won’t want to miss it!

On a slight tangent, Scarlett Johnasson recently said in an interview (Allure November 2006, on newsstands Oct. 24): “Josh [Hartnett] is very sweet. He’s a good boy. A great person. I’m very lucky and I’m very happy. Contrary to popular belief, I’m not promiscuous… There does seem to be a mistaken belief out there that I am sexually available somehow — which is not to say that I’m not open-minded about sex. Yet I wouldn’t say I’m a serial monogamist, either. I mean, I went through periods of time when I was, ah, single. But when I’m in a relationship, I’m in a relationship… I do think on some basic level we are animals, and by instinct we kind of breed accordingly. But as much as I believe that, I work really hard when I’m in a relationship to make it work in a monogamous way… I get tested for HIV twice a year. … One has to be socially aware. It’s part of being a decent human, to be tested for STDs. It’s just disgusting behavior when people don’t. It’s so irresponsible.”

• On being voted “Best Breasts” by a weekly tabloid: “I’m sure my mom will be proud. You work hard making independent films for fourteen years and you get voted best breasts.”
• On being voted “Best Bum” in a British poll: “There are plenty of girls with nicer butts. There are plenty of girls who work harder for nicer butts. What about my brain? What about my heart? What about my kidneys and my gallbladder?”
• On posing nude for Vanity Fair with Keira Knightley: “It was surprisingly comfortable. Everyone was so busy working or loading film. Here I am, Keira and I, and we’re totally naked, and some guy is on his BlackBerry. But I guess it’s better than if they were all looking at me.”
• On offering to go nude during a scene in The Island: “They wanted to make me wear this bra when I woke up in the morning. And I was like, Why don’t they just have a sheet draped over me? Nobody sleeps in bras, except maybe French women.”

Scarlett Johansson gets a little S&M-ish in the October 2006 issue of Flaunt Magazine. Scarlett, 21, poses with Dita Von Teese — burlesque goddess, writer, fetish model, culturual historian wife of Marilyn Manson. Scarlett on Dita: “I appreciate Dita’s work. I think she’s incredibly beautiful, really talented. It’s amazing the way she transforms herself. It’s a creation all its own. I’ve collected and seen some of her books and pictures, and it’s really a dream come true to be a part of that. I think it’s unbelievably stimulating. That kind of visual, that fetish imagery tastefully done is so erotic, and to be able to evoke that in a photograph, I think that’s really something. Natalie and Scarlett both have their 16th century hair/headpieces on but check out Natalie wearing a matching purple tracksuit! Haha. And do I spy Scarlett wearing her PJ’s on underneath her black robe? It could be costume too though, I supppose. Both look like they’re having fun filming as co-stars! EXCITING! Here are the very first pictures from the set of historical drama The Other Boleyn Girl starring Eric Bana, Scarlett Johansson, and Natalie Portman (pictured above with head turned). The Other Boleyn Girl is based on Philippa Gregory’s novel and tells the story of the two ferociously ambitious Boleyn sisters contending for the affection of 16th century English King Henry VIII, played by Eric Bana. Natalie will play Anne Boleyn, Scarlett will play Mary Boleyn.

This cast seems really strong (and beautiful), so I’m banking on this move being a knockout. Kristin Scott Thomas (Sarah Davies in Mission: Impossible)recently joined the cast as Lady Elizabeth, the mother of the Boleyn sisters. The Other Boleyn Girl is set for a 2007 release. • Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Rosie O’Donnell are just some of the celebrities Stephen Baldwin says he prays for. Baldwin claims “the spirit of God has put [Cruise] in my heart,” and that he prays Pitt, who he says comes from Christian roots, “will do the right thing and marry [Angelina Jolie].” About O’Donnell, he hopes that she will one day experience the “true loving spirit of Jesus Christ.” Lastly, Baldwin said: “On the Hollywood list of people I pray for often, Tom Cruise is probably number one. I’d love to break bread with him and pray with him, and I’d love for the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the truth to him.”
• Justin Timberlake will host the European MTV Video Music Awards on November 2 in the Danish capital of Copenhagen.
• Bono shouted out a “Happy Birthday” to Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina, the other night at the Hudson Hotel where he celebrated the launch of T-shirts to benefit the One campaign. Lindsay, who a day earlier had a screaming match with Dina, skipped the event.
• No murder or homicide was apparently involved in the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel. But he was on prescription anti-depression medication when he died Sept 10, pathologist Cyril Wecht said Monday. Wecht, who ordered drug and chemical analyses that could take weeks, said he learned about the prescription medication after the autopsy from Daniel’s psychiatrist in the United States. The depression apparently “had to do with a girlfriend,” he said.
• Nick Lachey has been ignored by Access Hollywood and ET because his dating ET’s Vanessa Minnillo makes coverage tricky for both shows.
