Selena Gomez, who’s featured in the latest issue of Teen Vogue, recently spilled about a new song she just wrote called “I’m Sorry.”

The new track’s is about liking a guy who can’t get over his ex, rumored to be about Nick Jonas getting over ex Miley Cyrus.

“My favorite song that I’ve written is called ‘I’m Sorry’”, Selena tells Twist. “It’s about a boy I kind of fell for, but he couldn’t let his ex-girlfriend go, and it was really difficult. And I felt like in a way, I wasn’t good enough. So the song is basically me saying that I’m sorry that it didn’t work out or that she used to be who she was, but you have to let me in and you have to know that I’ll do everything I can to make you happy and be the best I can be. So that’s probably going to be the first one that I want to work on for my record. It will probably be the only ballad on the record, because I want the other stuff to be really fun. But that is probably going to be the most heartfelt one because it was the hardest time for me. That story actually happened to me.”

Disney darling Selena Gomez is featured in the Young Hollywood October 2008 issue of Teen Vogue (the one with Zac Efron on the cover).

The 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star apparently takes her cues from an older ex-sitcom star. “I love Friends, so I try to bring Jennifer Aniston’s mannerisms to my show.”

Selena will follow-up on her small-screen success with the TV musical Another Cinderella Story and her own record deal. On top of all of that, she’s set to star alongside fellow teen-wonder Demi Lovato in next year’s Princess Protection Program.

“Everyone looked really chummy,” one spywitness said of the JoBros and their rumored lady loves.

And get this, Taylor and Selena left Tao holding hands. Holding hands! Rumored girlfriends of the Jonas Brothers have to stick together!

Check out the new Selena Gomez music video, “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know”, from her direct-to-dvd movie, Another Cinderella Story. The romantic comedy has a target release date of September 16, 2008.

The 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star has been making mall appearances in support of the “UR Votes Count” campaign which encourages teens to find a mall location near you or vote online at UrVotesCount.com. Selena is the spokesperson for the campaign and kicked off the campaign on Aug. 16 in Glendale, Calif.

“I think it is important for kids to vote and be heard,” Selena said in a press release. “Being a teen myself, I think it’s really important we are educated on the issues that affect us all so when we’re eligible, we’re fully prepared to take on one of our greatest privileges and responsibilities - voting.”
