ERW and Alan Cumming are set to star in the upcoming Broadway musical Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. The musical, directed by Julie Taymor, begins preview performances Feb. 25, 2010, at NYC’s Hilton Theatre. ERW will portray Peter Parker’s girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson, while Cumming takes on the role of the villainous Green Goblin. Adam Brody makes the leap from The O.C.’s sexy geek to Meg Ryan’s main man in In the Land of Women, out April 20.
“I’ve gained some perspective lately in my life,” he says. “A big part of it is the show ending and … I also had a long-term relationship end too,” he says about his three-year relationship with his “O.C.” co-star Rachel Bilson. “Life is so fleeting in a way — and it’s unlike me, because I’m very driven, and I get a little obsessive — but I am trying to be very Zen about it. Just enjoy it.”
“And, honestly, who cares if you get a good movie or not? I feel like I’m in semi-retirement already a little bit. I’m 27, and I have a house.” He smiles. “I’ve decided that I’m happy with my lot in life.”

In light of the awards season (the Oscars are this weekend), General Motors threw its annual GM TEN event last night — a charity-driven celebrity couture fashion show. It’s where fashion, cars, and Hollywood join forces for one special night.
With 2007 marking the 6th annual, this year’s runway had an all-star lineup including Katherine Heigl, Denise Richards, Jennifer Hudson, Sarah Wayne Callies, Mary J. Blige, Christina Milian, Leah Rimini, Roselyn Sanchez, Emmy Rossum, Shane West, Mario Lopez, David Boreanaz, Tyrese Gibson, Pete Wentz, Mekhi Phifer, Donald Faison, and of course, the Heroes cast — Hayden Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia, Masi Oka, and Jack Coleman.
