Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen raked in a massive $201.2 million these last five days, second best to The Dark Knight’s five-day haul of $203.8 million.
Despite earning a pathetic 20% on RottenTomatoes.com, moviegoers came out in droves this past weekend to see the Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox show.
The biggest movie of the year so far is Star Trek, which has totaled $244 million over seven weeks.

Shia LaBeouf picks up a few items at the NY vintage boutique What Goes Around Comes Around in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Friday afternoon (June 26).
The 23-year-old actor was seen hopping into his SUV and was probably being driven to JFK airport, where his Transformers costar Megan Fox was just spotted. They’re off to do more promotion for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, in regular and IMAX theaters now!

Transformers director, Michael Bay bumped into President Obama at the airport and shared the funny story, saying, “The Obama thing came about because I was walking in a Vegas airport, and he was walking by himself, carrying his bag and his hanging bag over his shoulder. This was after I’d just seen him in the beginning of his campaign, and we were walking side by side. I said, “Hey, I saw you the other night, and I liked what you had to say. I really like hearing your stuff.” I introduced myself, and he said, “What do you do?” “I’m a director.” He said, “What movies?” I said, “Oh, these movies…” He said, “Oh, you’re a big-ass director. I’ve seen a bunch of your movies.” So that’s why I decided to put him in! And yeah, he really did! [say "big-ass director"].

The 23-year-old actor sustained multiple injuries during the filming of several stunts in the movie. “I mistimed something and impaled my face. I had a spike in my eye,” Shia told Access Hollywood. “I had blood coming down my face and it was the dark, dark purplish kind, which is actually a great thing, because if it had been reddish and clear, that means my eye popped.”
“He is a really tough kid. I mean he took some sh*t, he took some real lumps in this movie,” co-star Josh Duhamel said of Shia’s injury. “I was right there and it’s just dripping blood…he leaves the set and they run him off in an ambulance and it turned out he just cut the top of it.”

Shia LaBeouf is standing by the comments he made about his mother being the “sexiest woman” he knows. Here’s what the 23-year-old Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen star told Extra:
On calling his mother the sexiest woman he knows: “It was Mother’s Day coming up and I don’t have any problems appearing crazy to make my mother smile, but she is the most beautiful woman on this planet and I love her. She’s fly as hell. I stand by that. My mom’s awesome….I think the sickness is also on the other end to be able to twist the words and make it as ridiculous as that. Clearly, I’m not having sex with my mother. It’s ridiculous.”
On possibly doing another Indiana Jones film: “I’m an actor for hire. I have no control in terms of that movie. Last I heard they’re making progress in terms of the story. I know Harrison [Ford] is fired up to get back in there as soon as possible and George [Lucas] and Steven [Spielberg] want to make another one…They’re making progress but nothing is definite about it. ”
On doing the sequel to Wall Street: “We’re deep in prep now. We start in August… It’s definitely going to be different. Just the financial landscape is very different. We’re talking about the crime of the century…It’s a crime. Blatant crime…In this financial climate, it’s very relevant.”

The 23-year-old wore a sexy one-shoulder Roberto Cavalli dress with a seriously high side-slit. The most stand-out feature of the dress was the torso cut-out on the right side — a snake “slithered” around the edges of it!
Megan recently spoke of her relationship with boyfriend Brian Austin Green. She told EW, “Brian and I are not engaged, because when you’re engaged, your goal is marriage. And I don’t think that’s a realistic goal for me right now. I know I’m not capable at this point in my life of being a good partner or a good wife. That’s like a joke.”

Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox continue their promotional tour for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as they board a private jet out of Paris on Saturday (June 13).
Megan, 23, recently downplayed her acting to EW: ”I think I could be [a good actress]. If I really buckle down, I think one day I could be a very good actress. But so far, I haven’t done anything yet.”
She continued, ”People are well aware that [Transformers] is not a movie about acting. And once you realize that, it becomes almost fun because you can be in the moment and go, ‘All right, I know that when he calls Action! I’m either going to be running or screaming, or both.”’ More Here! »

On the breakup from his longtime girlfriend China Brezner of three years: “The good actors are all screwed up. They’re all in pain. It’s a profession of bottom-feeders and heartbroken people. Maybe it was career pressure. … Maybe I chose work. Every man has those feelings of escape and survival. I know you shouldn’t be that way. I’m trying to understand it and find the answers. I don’t have them now. Why did the love of my life and I break up? … Man, I have no idea. What was that all about? I have no answers to anything. None. Why am I an alcoholic? I haven’t a damn clue! What is life about? I don’t know.”
On living his life: “Sometimes I feel I’m living a meaningless life and I get frightened. I know I’m one of the luckiest dudes in America right now. I have a great house. My parents don’t have to work. I’ve got money. I’m famous. But it could all change, man. It could go away. You never know.”
On being aware of how easy it is to be overwhelmed by a skyrocketing career: “I don’t handle fame well. Most actors on most days don’t think they’re worthy. I have no idea where this insecurity comes from, but it’s a God-sized hole. If I knew, I’d fill it, and I’d be on my way.”
