The 39-year-old actress is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her work on Modern Family.

Sofia is up against her Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen, Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Tina Fey (30 Rock), and Betty White (Hot in Cleveland).

Sofia Vergara and Melissa McCarthy bring some of their humor to the 2012 Producers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton hotel on Saturday (January 21) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 39-year-old Modern Family actress, wearing a Monique Lhuillier dress, was on hand to support the producers of her hit show, who won the award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, Comedy. Earlier in the day, Sofia and her boyfriend Nick Loeb grabbed lunch at Nate ‘N Al’s deli in Beverly Hills (pictured inside).

The producers of Melissa‘s flick Bridesmaids were nominated for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, but lost the award to the producer of The Artist.

Sofia Vergara and Ed O’Neill grab a flight with their on-screen son Rico Rodriguez during a scene for their hit show Modern Family on Thursday (January 19) in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old actress made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier in the week, during which she and Ellen played with some makeup.

The ladies, who are both CoverGirl spokespersons, showed off the brand’s new 2-in-1 foundation, in a makeup applying lesson you’ve just got to see! Ellen stood behind Sofia and replaced her arms, smearing makeup all over Sofia‘s face. Ha!

The 39-year-old actress recently revealed that she spent a lot of money trying to “fix” her Colombian accent when she started acting.

“At the beginning I thought I could fix my accent to make it sound like something else so I spent a lot of money and time to change it,” Sofia recently shared. “I was going to auditions and I was putting all my concentration on changing the next word to a different accent so my acting completely disappeared. I was just thinking about the pronunciation. I was getting no response from directors or anything because it was terrible.”
