Limelight lover Heidi Montag proudly plays up this week’s Us Weekly cover feature “How Spencer Tricked Heidi“ by wearing an “I Got Tricked” t-shirt while out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Is fiance Spencer Pratt’s larger-than-life personality all an act? Us Weekly says, “Some who were once close to him paint a picture of an attention-craving Svengali who has been alienating his friends and using his own fiancee to boost his profile. ‘Spencer used to brag about how he wanted to be famous and he’d do it by becoming an It couple with Heidi,’ says one Hills insider. ‘He’d sell his own mother for fame.’” Find out more about how Spencer tricked Heidi in this week’s issue of Us.

Meanwhile, The Hills will be alive with the sound of music as Heidi prepares launching her music career. Will the ‘leaked’ single “Body Language” be Heidi’s first single or will another track really be released in its place?

The Hills star Heidi Montag world premiered her single “Body Language” on radio show On-Air with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday morning.

Fans called in giving it rave reviews!!!

And guess who makes a guest appearance on the track rapping?? That’s right, fiance Spencer Pratt breaks it down rap-style on “Body Language.”

“It’s very dance, urban, rhythmical,” Heidi has said. “It’s kind of it’s own genre. It’s very upbeat, very uptempo. I really love a lot of rap and urban music too, so I’m bringing a lot of those elements in. It’s just a really fun dance vibe at the same time.”

Asked KIIS FM co-host Ellen K, “Is she the new Britney?” Is she?????

UPDATE: This release was apparently a mistake! “We did it as a joke,” Spencer tells People. “It’s not her single at all. It was never meant to be heard by anyone but us. Over my dead body would I rap on Heidi’s first single. Heidi is so upset because this was not the first sound she wanted people to hear from her.”

After the couple finished dining in West Hollywood, they left the restaurant holding hands. When fans approached them, they happily obliged and posed for photos with fans as they left the eatery.

The third season of The Hills premieres Monday, August 13 at 10 PM ET.

Heidi Montag and fiance Spencer Pratt just happen to get photographed yet again while frolicking on the beach on Independence Day in the Pacific Palisades. The Hills honey got into the holiday spirit, turning heads in a stars and stripes bikini. Quite the festive July 4th bikini!

America’s favorite “love to hate” couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt from MTV reality TV show The Hills enjoy another barefoot photo shoot stroll along the Malibu beaches earlier this week.

The couple will celebrate their one-month engagement anniversary next weekend after being together for only nine months.

Other pictures include Heidi and Spencer at the charity event “A Time For Heroes” benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation at the Wadsworth Theater in Westwood, Calif.

And yes, her Hills nemesis Lauren Conrad was there too!

Wow, now we’ve got paparazzi filming other paparazzi!!

Video/audio footage has surfaced of photographers talking about their paparazzi agency’s “set up” that they did with America’s favorite couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt from The Hills.

Heidi and Spencer, as first reported by Celebrity Babylon, have reportedly racked up a cool $30,000 for staging photos and their engagement for a double-page spread in a certain tabloid magazine.

“It’s an arrangement that suits both of them,” says an MTV insider. “They won’t be walking down the aisle, they will go through the motions of planning a wedding, and then have a big break-up that will get lots of press. All caught on camera by photographers, of course.”

Says Celebrity Babylon, “It’s a manager with a contract in hand, the dirtiest deal in Hollywood, the romance is a publicity stunt to make the two cover-worthy magazine stars and generate a significant side income!” Watch the video here!
