Stephen Colbert Gets Rained On, Again

For the second year in a row, South Korean actor/singer Rain narrowly beats Stephen Colbert in Time Magazine’s Poll Results of the most influential people.

Last year, Rain and Colbert placed No.1 and No.2, respectively, but this year they were both beat out by Shigeru Miyamoto, a video-game designer who created Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda.

Rain is already training a successor, Kevin Park, to his own Asian pop company at the mere age of 25.

Colbert’s book, I Am America! (And So Can You!) has spent more than 23 weeks atop the NY Times Best Sellers list.

Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks came in at No.4 and No.5, respectively.

Colbert, Carell & Stewart Hug @ Emmys 2007

Funny men Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart share a hug together after pretending to accept the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award, which actually was won by ExtrasRicky Gervais at the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Gervais was not present to accept the award, so Stewart said, “He couldn’t be here tonight, so we’re giving it to our friend Steve Carell.” Steve ran onstage and they all hugged and yelled.

To start off the segment, Colbert came out utilizing a leaf blower, Stewart said his gas-powered blower was not “green.” Colbert insisted it was green. “It’s powered by Al Gore’s tears,” he said, adding that there were plenty to fuel his tank. “He’s a crybaby. We’re so lucky he’s not president.”

Stephen Colbert: Let it RAIN!

Rain, it is time to reign you in…

Stephen Colbert covers Korean R&B phenom Rain in a hilarious music video parody called “Singin’ in Korean,” where — what else — he sings in Korean himself!

Hilarious!!!!! Why so random? Rain beat out Colbert in Time Magazine’s poll of 100 most influential people of the year. The K-pop sensation had almost half a million votes, over 100,000 more than Colbert, who placed runner-up.

Anderson Cooper Loves Colbert

CNN’s Anderon Cooper made a quick cameo on The Colbert Report last night. He promoted Stephen Colbert’s new Ben & Jerry’s “Americone Dream” ice cream flavor. Here’s the line Anderson delivered after tasting Colbert’s delicious treat:

“WOW! Stephen Colbert’s ‘Americone Dream.’ That’s 360 degrees of flavor!”

Said Colbert of his ice cream flavor, “No one will ever find out, because I’m married, but this is what I taste like. Very sweet.”

Watch the video of Anderson Cooper below (timestamp 4:12 to be exact) right after a cameo by Tim Robbins (Shawshank Redemption)!

After all is said and done, make sure you get your free foldable frisbee!
