‘The Office’ Celebrates its First Wedding Sat, 27 January 2007
New promo pics for The Office episode “Phyllis’s Wedding.” How happy does Phyllis look?! (Yes, that’s Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration.)
Here’s a brief synopsis from NBC: Phyllis regrets giving Michael an important job at her wedding after several embarrassing moments. (It looks like he’s walking her dad down the aisle.) Pam has flashbacks of her own wedding planning when she sees Phyllis’s decorations. Meanwhile, Dwight is determined to catch wedding crashers (after Jim convinces him that they exist).
Pictured: Phyllis Smith as Phyllis Lapin, Bobby Ray Shafer as Bob Vance, Hansford Rowe as Elbert Lapin, B. J. Novak as Ryan Howard, Mindy Kaling as Kelly Kapoor, Kate Flannery as Meredith Palmer, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly, Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute, Angela Kinsey as Angela Martin, and ) Steve Carell as Michael Scott.
The Office episode “Phyllis’s Wedding” airs Thursday, Feb. 8 @ 8:30PM ET/PT on NBC. More pictures after the jump!

Christmas Party In The Office Fri, 15 December 2006
Did you all catch last night’s episode of The Office? If not, you better get to somebody who has it TiVo’d because it’s one that’s not to be missed!
When the party planning committee disagrees on how to pull off the office Christmas party, Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Karen (Rashida Jones) band together to throw their own separate alcohol-and-karaoke party against Angela’s (Angela Kinsey) wishes. In the midst of it all, Michael Scott (Steve Carell) copes with his split with his girlfriend by being persuaded to join the guys, Andy (Ed Helms), Jim (John Krasinksi), and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) at a feast at Benihana Japanese restaurant.
I won’t go into it much in case some of you haven’t seen it (don’t want to spoil anything), but do make sure you stay and watch the whole thing from beginning to end. There’s a great gag at the end played on Dwight. That’s all I’ll say about that.
I always think their holiday-themed episodes are really good and A Benihana Christmas is no exception. Here are some promo shots from the production of that episode which aired yesterday.

Little Miss Sunshine Review Wed, 30 August 2006
Little Miss Sunshine is this summer’s sleeper hit and if you haven’t seen it yet, you are TOTALLY MISSING OUT. It was labeled one of the hottest properties at Sundance back in January, opened in select theaters back in July, and the buzz is still flowing. And rightfully so! It’s 102 minutes of pure hilarity from start to finish.
The standout (and thoroughly competent) ensemble includes Steve Carell as a suicidal Proust scholar, Greg Kinnear as a wannabe motivational speaker dad, Toni Collette as a working mother trying to hold the family together, Alan Arkin as a foul-mouthed, heroin-snorting grandpa, Paul Dano as a Nietzsche devotee and, last but not least, the adorable Abigail Breslin as daughter Olive, who competes in the Little Miss Sunshine contest.
Although most wouldn’t typically warm up to Little Miss Sunshine because it has "quirky indie" and "dark comedy" written all over, it most certainly delivers. It’s a beautiful comedy that’s so clever and fresh, you’ll thank me later. Check out Little Miss Sunshine while it’s still out in theaters. It’ll be worth every penny!
