Brad Pitt’s new inner left forearm tattoo has been ID’s as the outline of Ötzi the Iceman, aka Frozen Fritz and Similaun Man. Here’s some history behind Europe’s oldest natural human mummy via the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology:

Over 5000 years ago, a man climbed up to the icy heights of the Schnalstal glacier and died. He was found by accident in 1991, with his clothes and equipment, mummified and frozen: an archaeological sensation and a unique snapshot of a Copper Age man.

The mummy of Otzi and the articles found with it, found in 1991 on the border between Austria and Italy, have been on exhibit since March 1998 at the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology.

David Beckham loves Wentworth Miller!!!

David Beckham proudly shows off his new forearm tattoo, honoring Wentworth Miller’s character on Prison Break, fugitive Michael Scofield.

The needlework design on his right arm, which includes his jersey number 23, links up the angel and clouds he already had on his arm.

In an interview with UK’s The Daily Mail back in April 2006, Wentworth Miller expressed how flattered he was that David Beckham is a fan of Prison Break and his body tattoo.

Apparently David Beckham is interested in copying your tattoo. Would you advise it? I’ve heard he’s getting my tattoo. Isn’t that wild? It never occurs to me that celebrities or sports people or actors are watching my show. I only think of my friends and family tuning in. I think his idea to join up his tattoos will work quite nicely, but I don’t envy him having it done. That’s a lot of work and a lot of pain for a tattoo that size.

Beckham, 31, was seen rolling up his sleeves and watching the Spanish League soccer match between Real Madrid and Osasuna at Santiago Bernabeu stadium on Sunday in Madrid, Spain. Real Madrid beat Osasuna 2-0.

Becks also wore a keffiyeh (typical Arab headdress) around his neck while showing off his new tattoo.

Who wears the tattoos best? Wentworth Miller or David Beckham?

Sporting a newly shorn look and a “ridiculous” tattoo on his left wrist, Ryan Gosling lands at LAX airport on Thursday afternoon.

Ryan, 26, was accompanied at the airport by girlfriend Rachel McAdams‘ younger sister, Kayleen McAdams and her boyfriend Zach Shields (they made a brief trip to Vegas together and caught Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce burlesque show).

The Notebook star later hailed a cab and left the airport with his guitar and luggage.

Care to know about Ryan’s “ridiculous” tattoo? Here’s an excerpt from a recent interview Ryan gave UK’s Guardian newspaper:

At one point, glancing at his hand, I see what I think must be a fading ink stamp, and ask if he was at a club the night before. “Oh no,” he laughs, “that’s a homemade tattoo”. He has many, apparently, all of them “ridiculous”. “A tattoo should never be meaningful,” he explains, “because at a certain point you’re going to hate it, and it might as well make you laugh.”
