Taylor Swift goes gangster while rehearsing for the 2009 CMT Music Awards with rapper T-Pain at the Sommet Center on Tuesday (June 9) in Nashville, Tenn.
The 19-year-old country cutie tweeted last night, teasing fans, “If I said I was in the studio with T-Pain, would you believe me?”
Taylor recently dished that she would love to duet with a rapper. Looks like more of her dreams are coming true!
The 2009 CMT Music Awards air this Tuesday, June 16 @ 8PM ET/PT on CMT.
Taylor Swift has released the music video for her new single, “You Belong With Me.” It’s the third single from her sophomore effort, 2008’s Fearless.
The vid features the dance team from Hendersonville High School, the high school from which she graduated. It also features Lucas Till from Hannah Montana The Movie, which Taylor also appeared in.

You wrote “Forever and Always” about your breakup with Joe Jonas. Do you regret putting those emotions out there? Writing songs about people is the only way I know how to do things. I mean, I can’t wish I hadn’t written a song about someone, because if I hadn’t, that song wouldn’t exist. I just don’t find any joy in writing about things I haven’t been through.
What’s your favorite thing to write songs about? “Right now, my favorite thing to write about is love. And breakups. And boys. And feelings. Honesty is a big part of my writing, because when I was younger and fell in love with songs I’d hear, I would always wonder who that song was about. It would have totally broken my heart to know it wasn’t about anyone and was just written so it could be on the radio.”
Do you have a close group of girlfriends that you always rely on to get you through a hard time? ” In Nashville, it’s Abigail [who's mentioned in Taylor's song "Fifteen"], and Kellie Pickler. In L.A., Selena Gomez is one of my best friends. I’m also really close with Miley [Cyrus], Demi Lovato, and Emma Stone.

On not wanting to talk about sex: “It’s fine to talk about love publicly but I think when you talk about virginity and sex publicly, people just automatically picture you naked. And as much as I can prevent people picturing me naked, I’m going to.”
On a bad relationship being a point of inspiration: “Let’s say I date a guy who really does nothing but damage me. And you’ve spent time, you’ve spent effort, and you’ve put everything into trying to make that work. And it didn’t. So you write a song about it. It was worth everything if you write a song about it.”
On fairy tales being a big inspiration: “I have always been fascinated with fairy tales, and the idea that Prince Charming is just one castle away. And you’re gonna run across a field and meet each other in the middle, and have an amazing, perfect movie kiss. And it’s gonna be happily ever after.”
On a not-so-happy ending being more appealing: “For some reason, I could never, ever stop writing songs about heartbreak. Just because as human beings, what we can’t have is what we replay in our head over and over again before we go to sleep.”

The 19-year-old Nashville princess just blogged about how honored she is to be on the RS cover. She shared, “I’m so excited, I can’t even stand it. It’s on news stands now, and I haven’t seen it yet because I’m in London, but I just can’t believe I get to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. Wow. This is crazy.”
Taylor was photographed at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood in January 21.
