Mehcad Brooks shoots hoops in these shots from The Deep End, airing TONIGHT at 8/7c on ABC!

The 29-year-old actor, who you might recognize as Eggs from True Blood, plays Malcolm Bennett, a quick-witted lawyer who gets off on the wrong foot at a law firm. The Deep End tells the story of five young lawyers right out of law school.

Mehcad knows his way around the basketball court as well as the courtroom – he was an all-state basketball player in his home state of Texas!

True Blood hunk Mehcad Brooks enjoys a night out at STK restaurant with a mystery male on Wednesday night (September 2).

The 28-year-old actor, who plays Benedict “Eggs” Talley on his hit vamp series, will be joining ABC’s legal drama The Deep End as a regular.

THR reports Mehcad will play a new character, Malcolm Bennet, an associate at the L.A. law firm.
