In last night’s episode of The O.C. ("The Party Favor"), the Korean pop star, Young Nam, at The O.C. senior prom was played by Justin Chon (he also played an Asian wannabe gangster in a few T-Mobile commericals).  FYI :: The little Koreans girls (pictured) screamed for BIG KOREA yelling "OPPA!!!!!!"  More screen caps from this episode in the gallery!

UPDATE :: Justin Chon is not a real Korean pop star.  Wake up, people!  He’s an actor just like the rest of The O.C. cast.

Blood bath!  In this episode’s final scene, Ryan (Benjamin
 McKenzie) beats the snot out of Volchok (Cam Gigandet).

Wah!  It’s going to be one huge AZN block party on The O.C. next week (that’s the same Asian in the background here). Yeah, mooncakes all around!  (Some screen time is better than no screen time, eh?) Above, Summer (Rachel Bilson) enlists the help of Volchok (Cam Gigandet) to liven up the senior prom while Marissa (Mischa Barton) has the task of actually getting Volchok to enjoy the prom. "Party Favor" Synopsis :: Harbor School’s Senior Prom brings out the best and the worst in everyone. Taylor hits a high at prom, while Summer falls flat with her surprising prom date. Seth and Anna come up with a prom plan to win Summer back. Meanwhile, Marissa convinces Volchok to go to the prom (he flirts with another girl and gets caught) and Ryan brings an unexpected old flame. When one of the girls is elected prom queen, it truly becomes a night to remember. Later, when Taylor’s prom funds are missing, Ryan returns to his old ways and prom night turns brutal.

ALERT!  ALERT!  ASIANS ON THE OC! ASIANS ON THE OC!  And by golly, that’s a FOB in the back row!  Ai-yah!  Total landmark moment for the The O.C. to have Asians on the show… although none them probably have speaking roles. Ha!  (Dr. Kim doesn’t count, she’s old!) "The College Try" Synopsis :: Graduation is just weeks away and Ryan, Seth, Summer and Marissa leave Newport to attend their respective pre-frosh orientations at UC Berkeley and Brown. While dropping the boys off at the airport, Kirsten is surprised to see Theresa and her all-too-familiar-looking baby boy. Kirsten and Sandy’s simmering feud becomes public at a benefit for the hospital. While visiting Brown, Seth runs into Anna on the quad and they instantly connect. Could this be the end of Summer and Seth? Meanwhile, Kirsten and Sandy attend a hospital benefit where Kirsten vents her frustrations and falls back into an old habit.

Samaire Armstrong returns as fiesty chick Anna Stern and gives Seth (Adam Brody) unexpected help in his last-ditch effort to get into Brown. The O.C. episode "The College Try" airs Thursday, April 20 (9PM ET/PT) on FOX.   More pictures in the gallery!

Los Angeles, CA :: Seth (Adam Brody) and Summer (Rachel Bilson) will be attending Brown University next semester but The O.C. won’t be filming in Providence, Rhode Island.  The O.C. is using The University of Southern California (USC) campus and making it look like Brown University’s campus.  Above and below is the real-life Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody enjoying some down time during a break of filming an episode. Brody and Bilson are a couple on screen and off.  More pictures in the gallery!

Orange County resident and American Idol finalist Lisa Tucker will guest-star on The O.C. Thursday, April 27 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the episode, Tucker returns to Orange County just in time to attend Harbor School’s Senior Prom. Tucker begins production the week of April 10 on “The Party Favor” episode of The O.C.  Tucker is currently a senior at Kennedy High School in Orange County, California and was voted off last week on the March 29 Idol results show.
