Sandro Kopp: Tilda Swinton’s Boyfriend

Oscar winner Tilda Swinton arrives in Sevilla, Spain with her boyfriend, Sandro Kopp, to shoot Limits of Control directed by Jim Jarmusch.

Tilda, 47, and Sandro, 30, first met during filming of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in New Zealand in 2004.

The couple made a public appearance together back in January during the 2008 BAFTA Awards. When Tilda accepted the BAFTA award for Best Supporting Actress, she was accompanied by Sandro, rather than John Byrne, her longtime partner and father of her ten-year-old twins.

When asked about the relationship among Sandro, John and herself, Tilda said, “We are all the best of pals.”

Sounds like another Demi-Ashton-Bruce love triangle!

Seeing you climb into that rubber bat suit from Batman & Robin–the one with the nipples–every morning under your costume, on the set off the set, hanging upside down at lunch. You rock, man. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
