Tony, 27, is the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys and is enjoying his best season on the gridiron. According to reports, her father Joe Simpson (red and white striped jersey) set the two of them up. Stylist Ken Paves (short leather jacket) also joined the Simpson family. Everyone was all smiles including Papa Simpson.

Perhaps Tony can persuade Jess to put on a Cowboys uniform as well and be a cheerleader!

Jessica Simpson and her new Dallas Cowboys quarterback beau Tony Romo enjoy a date night out at Teddy’s lounge in West Hollywood on Saturday.

The pair celebrated her former assistant Cacee Cobb’s birthday.

Jessica and Tony (both 27) spent Thanksgiving weekend together in Texas.

It’s been reported that Jessica’s dad, Joe, set up the pretty pair. “Joe and Tony have been friendly for a while,” said a pal of Jessica. “Joe is a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and Tony has always had a crush on her - he even said on his Web site like a year ago that it was his dream to date her. Jessica has been in Nashville and Dallas recording her new country album. When Tony found out, he called Joe and said, ‘I know she’s not dating anyone right now, can I take her out for a drink at least?’ Jessica said it was OK for Joe to give Tony her number and they hit it off. Britney Spears gave Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo a lap dance, according to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning.

(Yes this is the same Tony Romo who was romantically linked to American Idol alum Carrie Underwood back in May and One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush last week.)

Seacrest spilled, “I spoke to her for a minute. She seemed to be in a very, very good mood. She had her sunglasses on. I said, ‘Busy day, huh?’ She kind of smiled and laughed and said, ‘Yeah.’ And then I believe I saw her and Tony Romo frolicking.”

“Lap dancing?” a co-host asked.

“I mean some would say,” Seacrest said.

“She’s on his lap,” the co-host continued.

“Yeah,” Seacrest replied.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo may just have scored himself a touchdown.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Romo, 27, was spotted dining with One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush, 25.

Bush was last seen out and about with actor boyfriend Jon Foster back in August but who knows. Hollywood moves fast!

Romo was last romantically linked to country singer Carrie Underwood, who’s currently dating Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford.

The American Idol 5 winner arrived on the red carpet with her man unit, Tony Romo. She also performed her hit single performed “Wasted” during the awards ceremony.

In their first public appearance together, American Idol champ Carrie Underwood steps out with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo at the Academy Of Country Music Awards 2007 on Tuesday.

The perfect pair arrived for the ceremony together and took to the red carpet hand-in-hand at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Their relationship has been semi-public since Christmas Day 2006 when Carrie, 24, showed up to watch the Cowboys play the Eagles. Tony, 27, was spotted hugging her before the game.
