Canuck cutie Elisha Cuthbert shows off her hockey skills on TRL from its Times Square studios in NYC on Thursday (taped on Monday). The actress has been promoting her latest thriller, Captivity, which comes out next Friday, July 13.
Elisha, 24, is a hockey fanatic, partly due to the fact that she’s dating New York Rangers hockey player Sean Avery.

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf makes-out with a blonde-wigged tennis ball during Total Request Live at NYC’s MTV Times Square Studios on Tuesday.
Apparently in Transformers, the cast used silver rods with tennis balls attached at the ends to fill in for the robots, which would be CGI’ed into the scene in post-production. MTV VJ Damien Fahey handed Shia a tennis ball and they had a love scene together!
Damien voiced the character of the blonde-wigged tennis ball while Shia played his handsome himself. Shia gave it all he got — he grabbed his rod tightly, used his tongue to start licking the tennis ball, started rolling all over the floor with the rod and kissed the tennis ball to death. (It’s even funnier if you just watch it.)

The Office’s John Krasinski, aka Jim Halpert, makes his premier appearance on TRL on Thursday (filmed on Wednesday) alongside his License to Wed co-star Mandy Moore.
There’s a scene in their romantic comedy where Mandy’s character is given a trust test. She’s blindfolded and John’s character must be the best backseat driver he can be. MTV VJ Damien Fahey had Mandy take a similar test on TRL. Mandy was blindfolded and John had to direct her to the control room to deliver the video clip of License to Wed. Funny stuff!
John’s Office castmate Steve Carell was on TRL the day before and left a video message for John. It’s hilarious, you must watch it!!
