Joe Manganiello has been upgraded to a series regular on True Blood, HBO’s hit vampire series.

If you didn’t know, the 33-year-old hunky actor plays the very first werewolf in Bon Temps.

The 33-year-old actor hosted the Zanerobe clothing party from 3-6pm at the Kitson boutique.

Joe plays the very first werewolf on True Blood TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on HBO.

“My character Alcide comes to Bon Temps this Sunday June 27th,” Joe tweeted. “HOWWWLLL!!!”

Alexander Skarsgard and co-star Stephen Moyer rehearse a scene for their hit vampire series, True Blood, on Friday in Los Angeles (June 25).

Show creator Alan Ball was on the scene, directing both Alex and Stephen.

SPOILERS: The scene goes on around a cement truck. Cement is poured over a shallow grave. Eric looks to be wearing handcuffs. And at one point, Bill shoves Eric out of the way. Can’t wait to see the actual scene!!!

True Blood has been renewed for a 12-episode fourth season, HBO confirms to JustJared.com.

“I am beyond thrilled to be able to continue working with this amazing cast and crew,” creator Alan Ball shared. “This is the most fun I have ever had.”

The hit vampire series will begin production of new episodes early next year in Los Angeles, with debut set for summer 2011.

Here’s what the 33-year-old actor had to share:

On his 15-month stint in the Swedish Marines: “It was kind of in the Marines [when] I decided to try acting again. It was mentally and physically very, very tough. I hated it.”

On what he does in his spare time: “I’m a huge fan of football, or soccer, as you guys call it. Hammarby’s the name of the team - they’re from the Dirty South of Stockholm!”
