TV Host Tyra Banks is fa-ierceeeee on the red carpet at the 2008 Daytime Emmy Awards held at the Kodak Theatre on Friday in Hollywood.

Daniel Cosgove and Marcy Rylan presented the second award of the evening to Ms. Tyra for the first ever Daytime Emmy for informative talk show.

“I want to thank Oprah Winfrey for her inspiration,” Ms. Tyra said. “She is the queen. She will always be the queen.”

Supermodel-turned-talk-show-host Tyra Banks takes the cover of the latest issue of The New York Times Magazine.

The cover story profiles Tyra’s “275 smiles from ‘angry but still smiling’ to ‘flirting with boyfriend.’”

There’s Martha. There’s Oprah. And now there’s Tyra.

Clay Aiken helps talk show host Tyra Banks celebrate her 500th episode by giving her audience tickets to Spamalot in NYC on Monday.

Clay has been performing in Spamalot since Jan. 18, and is scheduled to continue through May 4.

Clay, 29, who has sold more than 6 million albums, co-authored a best-selling book, and played six sold-out concert tours, said that he really couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful group of people to work with in Spamalot.

His latest album, On My Way Here, is scheduled to be released May 6th.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg joins Tyra Banks, Claire Unabia, Saliesha Cooper and Jaslene Gonzalez of America’s Next Top Model to plant an Oak tree on Ninth Avenue on Wednesday.

Together, they planted the tree as part of “Million Tree Month.” The show was taped Wednesday and will air sometime after Earth Day. Tyra even planted a kiss on Mayor Bloomberg’s cheek!

Tyra, 34, also received a proclamation to honor The Tyra Banks Show.

Tyra Banks hosts the 2008 Fiercee Awards (yes, they spell it with two e’s at the end!) to honor women of America’s Next Top Model on Friday in New York City.

“BET Honors” is an evening dedicated to recognizing the achievements and contributions of distinguished African American leaders in their fields. The event was hosted by Cedric “The Entertainer,” and also recognized Alicia Keys (Entertainment), Dr. Cornel West (Inspirational/Education), Richard Parsons (Corporate), the Honorable Maxine Waters (Government) and CEO Janice Bryant Howroyd (Entrepreneur).
