Supermodel-turned-TV-host Tyra Banks looks fabulous in head-to-toe brown in a mini-dress, boots, YSL belt and LV wallet. Tyra, 33, chowed down at the hip Japanese restaurant Katsuya in Los Angeles. Sports Illustrated: Tyra’s 10 Year Anniversary

In honor of Black History Month, Tyra celebrated the 10th annivesary of becoming the first Afircan-Americ an model to be fatured solo on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Editon. She recreated the groundbreaking photo in the Bahamas while wearing the same polka-dot bikini witih the same photographer she worked with a decvade ago. Here are the amazing photos from that shoot!

Britney Spears, Demi Moore, Natalie Portman, or Tyra Banks?

I just noticed that all everyone but Britney shaved their head for a film or TV show. And Tyra didn’t even really shave her head, it was just a bald cap and lots of Photoshop. Demi for GI Jane, Natalie for V for Vendetta, and Tyra for America’s Next Top Model. So what’s Britney’s excuse?

Any other female celebrities shave their lovely locks?

Tyra Banks is commemorating herself for being the first African American supermodel to appear solo on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition by donning the same red polka dot bikini she wore 10 years ago.

Said Tyra of the swimsuit’s adjustments: “”I was about 140 pounds on that cover … and I’m 161 now. I’d say I looked like a stripper when I put it on. They covered the sides of my chest so that it wasn’t so much hangin’ out. And they put some extenders on the sides of the bikini bottom so it fit. I think there’s more power in embracing what I am now and showcasing that. I’m thinking that I should probably do this every 10 years. So, in 2017 maybe I’ll get in the swimsuit again and I’ll have to get them to add a little more fabric.”

Celebrities came out in droves for music mogul Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday night in Beverly Hills — Tyra Banks, Whitney Houston, Ellen DeGeneres with girlfriend Portia De Rossi, Ciara, Vanessa Minnillo with boyfriend Nick Lachey, and JC Chasez (below). Whitney is wearing Roberto Cavalli.

Justin Timberlake backed out of performing because he has the flu. I knew he didn’t look all there on Friday Night at the launch of “JT-TV.” Maybe he got the cooties from K-Fed when they hugged. Anything’s possible, right? I wonder if Justin’s going to be a no show at the Grammys…

Clive found a quick replacement for Justin and tapped Motown music legend Smokey Robinson to perform “My Girl.” (Sidenote: Clive signed UK’s Leona Lewis in a $10 million contract.)

The bigger the star, the less time they spend on the red carpet. It appeared that [Christina] Aguilera only stopped for still photographers and then just kept walking down the red carpet.

We were given warning, “Clive and Whitney are coming down. They’re not going to stop, so get your shot.”

And indeed, they didn’t. A reporter shouted, “Whitney, how are you doing?” She said, without missing a step, “Cavalli, Cavalli,” referring to her dress designer, who also attended the party.

Obviously not one of Tyra’s best looks…

Tyra Banks is People Magazine’s covergirl this week, fighting back against the tabloids for mocking her after gaining 30 pounds. The ex-model is happy with her post-model size and claims, “If I had lower self-esteem, I would probably be starving myself right now.” At 5′10″, 161 lbs., and with “all the self-esteem installed in me, the criticism still hurts.” Check out the full article below!
