Ugly Betty stars Rebecca Romijn, Becki Newton, Michael Urie, and Mark Indelicato pride themselves at The GLAAD Media Awards 2007 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Ugly Betty was awarded outstanding television comedy series by GLAAD this year!

In the show, Romijn plays transgender character Alexis Meade.

Marc and Amanda (Urie & Newton) play the new Jack and Karen (Will & Grace’s Sean Hayes & Megan Mullally).

And Indelicato plays the fantabulous tap-dancing, show tune-loving Justin, nephew of Betty (America Ferrera).

Looks like Amanda, played by the wonderfully hilarious Becki Newton, is going to steal the show again!

“Secretaries Day”- Betty struggles to come up with the cash to solve the latest Suarez family dilemma, all while planning Mode`s big assistants week bash at a medieval themed restaurant, a place with an unlikely link to Amanda`s past. Meanwhile, Daniel tries to heed Betty’s advice about his sexual addiction issues; Alexis considers Rodrigo`s offer (guest star Cristian de la Fuente); Hilda faces a tough cosmetology school exam, and Wilhelmina becomes even bolder in her plans for total Mode domination.

Ugly Betty episode “Secretaries Day” airs Thursday, May 3 @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC. Looks like it’s going to be a fun episode as usual!

Becki Newton chomps away on her chewing gum in the arms of Ugly Betty co-star Michael Urie at the ATAS Foundation’s 28th Annual College Television Awards at The Culver Studios on Saturday night in Culver City, California.

Toss out the gum before walking the red carpet!

ATAS stands for Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Newton plays the mean-but-vulnerable receptionist Amanda on Ugly Betty. Urie plays the catty gay assistant to Wilhemia (Vanessa Williams).

American Idol’s Katharine McPhee (season 5 runner-up) also made a guest appearance on last night’s episode of Ugly Betty. Kat appears as herself and shows up for Mode Magazine’s runway show and signs her self-titled CD (out now) for Betty (America Ferrera) to give to her sister Hilda (Ana Ortiz). Check out Project Runway’s Tim Gunn’s very brief guest appearance from tonight’s Ugly Betty episode “I’m Coming Out”! Gunn plays a fashion correspondent during NYC Fashion Week and when designer Karl Lagerfeld passes by, he waves and says “Karl Lagerfeld! We love you! (looks into the camera) Ponytail at 70? Brave.” Gunn is expected to make another cameo during next week’s episode.

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera was her usual cutie pie self last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Jay poked fun at America for having her hand on Steven Spielberg’s leg during the Golden Globes. But when America was telling the story of mixing up two celebrities, she accidentally cusses! Oops! Oh yeah, and she announced that Taye Diggs and Naomi Campbell have upcoming appearances on Ugly Betty. Lucy Liu and Jerry O’Connell (pictured below) are also making appearances.
