Newlywed Salma Hayek gets glamorous in Gucci, taking front and center on InStyle’s April 2009 cover, the mag’s “color issue.”

“Any color can look beautiful on you,” the 42-year-old actress says. “It’s like a relationship. You just have to embrace it and work with it… When you’re petite, what color you wear doesn’t matter so much but big prints are probably not the best idea.”

Of her 17-month-old daughter Valentina Paloma, Salma says, “She’s a little dictator! (laughs) She is unique, magical–definitely the most colorful person I’ve ever met. I feel so connected to her, but at the same time, we are completely different. I discover something new about her every day.”

Newlyweds Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault hold hands as they make their way to the Balenciaga Fashion show on Wednesday (March 4) during the Spring/Summer 09-Fashion Week in Paris.

French billionaire Francois-Henri waited for Salma when she arrived at the Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris, where they were spotted hugging and kissing. The couple tied the knot with a small civil ceremony on Valentine’s Day in Paris.

Salma, 42, is currently developing a cosmetic line with a drugstore and has been doing research for the product for three years now. The line will be focused on having an affordable price.

Valentina ate her ice cream but wouldn’t ride the pony and wouldn’t pet a bunny at the fair.

Last week, Salma, 42, and singer Anastacia attended the book launch party for “Good To Great Hair” by Robert Vetica at Beso in Hollywood.

Salma Hayek tied the knot with the Gucci Group CEO, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, in a civil ceremony in Paris, France on Saturday (Valentine’s Day, February 14).

Salma, 42, and Francois, 46, met in Italy in 2006, announced their engagement and had a baby, Valentina Paloma, in September 2007. They broke off their engagement July 2008 but later reunited.

According to Forbes, Francois is worth an estimated $16.9 billion.

Salma Hayek goes through security at LAX with her daughter Valentina to catch a flight out of town on Monday (January 12).

The 42-year-old actress sent 200 specially-designed commemorative “Pillowcasegrams” celebrating the 2008 election of Barack Obama to fellow actors such as Prince, Edward Norton, Josh Lucas, Penelope Cruz, and Javier Bardem.

“It’s something decorative but useful,” Salma said. “And a pillowcase is definitely a memento that’s thought-provoking.”

Salma appeared on 30 Rock last week as part of a three-episode arc, starring as the nurse of character Jack Donaghy’s (Alec Baldwin) mother, who he ends up romancing.

Salma Hayek continues her bad habit and puffs away at her cancer stick while out and about with her her daughter Valentina, 15 months, in Los Angeles on Friday (December 27).

The 42-year-old actress whipped out her cigarette after shopping up a storm at the Neiman Marcus department store. Salma’s mother, Diana Jiminez, looked after little Valentina during the actress’s smoke break.

Salma was also seen with 11-month-old Valentina leaving the Plaza Athenee hotel on Friday in Paris France.

The 42-year-old Mexican beauty is currently developing a family comedy called The New McToms with Fox and will carry Salma’s ethnic flavor similar to Ugly Betty.
