The 35-year-old is temporarily replacing Paula Abdul on the American Idol judging panel. Posh’s rep commented, “There are no talks of her being a permanent judge. They felt she was natural in Denver. [But] she has Fashion Week coming up, and she is focusing on that.”
Mary J. Blige will be joining the AI judging panel when they swing through Atlanta.

Victoria Beckham resuscitates the lace headband fashion trend as she heads into American Idol auditions on Thursday (August 13) in Boston, Mass.
The 35-year-old is serving as a guest judge on the show where contestants are given golden tickets to advance to Hollywood.
Last week, Victoria told Ryan Seacrest, “I want to be nice to people. I know how it feels to stand there and be judged … I don’t want to shatter anybody’s dream, but at the same time there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism.”

Victoria Beckham will be a guest judge on one episode of American Idol of the upcoming season, her rep confirms.
The 35-year-old former Spice Girl will sit at the judging table alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
On Thursday morning, Idol host Ryan Seacrest revealed that Posh will be judging tomorrow’s auditions in Denver, Colorado.
Posh has previously served as guest judge of Project Runway.
Yesterday, it was announced that Paula Abdul would not be returning for the new season of Idol. Paula was reportedly offered a multiyear deal that would have put her annual salary at over $5 million – a 30 percent raise.
The ninth season of American Idol kicks off January 2010.

The 35-year-old former Spice Girl recently watched her husband, David Beckham, play his first home game of the season for the LA Galaxy on Sunday.
However, David wasn’t received well as he was heckled by fans during the game due to his missing the first half of the MLS season to play for AC Milan.
To add more fuel to the fire, David continued to insist that he’ll return to Milan. “I hope to return to play for Milan,” said David. “They have remained in my heart and honestly I am confident I will greet them again in November.”

During yesterday’s game, Galaxy fans heckled and booed at Beckham, holding up signs like “Go Home Fraud 23.” In the end, the game ended in a tie, 2-2.
