One of two laugh out loud Oscars moments last night had comedian Ben Stiller, 40, present the award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects.  More pictures and the video after the jump.  It’s hilarious!  Here’s the transcript I typed up –

Tonight, I am presenting the award for excellence in visual effects.  Or should I say, thanks to the miracle of green screen technology, my disembodied head is.  Those of you in the audience, take a look at the monitors next to the stage and you’ll see what over a billion viewers worldwide are ogling at right now.  Freaky, isn’t it?  You might even say that since the early days of cinema, visual effects have come full [Turns around] circle.  This is blowing Spielberg’s mind. [Spielberg shakes head no and mouths "No it’s not"]  In a moment, even my head will disappear and for the first time in Oscar history, an Academy Award will be presented… by no one.  [Puts green mask over head] Don’t worry, I’m still here.  [Moves to the left] Or am I here?  And the nominees are… [Makes envelope ‘fly’ around] Envelope, by the power of movie magic, open yourself.  And the Oscar goes to… King Kong.

Singer Christina Aguilera, 25, was interviewed for MTV’s TRL Awards late last week and gave VJ Damien Fahey an exclusive sneak peek of her new album, "Back To Basics", a throwback to the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s. She previewed one of her songs called "Candy Man", which is "very 50’s style, pin-up dolls in sailor suits and the happiest song on [her] record."  I certainly had my doubts but it sounds absolutely fantastic.  Let’s hope the rest of the alblum sounds just as great!  Christina Aguilera has been in her "creative cave" for a long while now and will return later this year with her new album.  Watch the Christina Ageulera TRL video after the jump.  More pictures in the gallery including Christina leaving Nobu Berkeley at London’s West End with husband Jordan Bratman last night.
