UPDATE :: Prison Break’s Sarah Wayne Callies is expecting her first child (due in late summer) with husband Josh Winterhalt. Interestingly enough, Josh was arrested and charged for possession of marijuana. Over a decade ago, though.

Welcome back jailbirds! After a brief hiatus, Prison Break has returned, however not bigger and better. Mahone has been shot, Agent Kim is enraged and Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield are once again on the run. This time with the last person they never imagined would ever be on their side—Paul Kellerman. “Why are you helping us?” “Because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Nothing like a double negative to get the ball rolling!

Kellerman proves himself to be resourceful as he uses his clearance to get the out of trouble but not long before Lincoln remembers him as the guy that tried to take him out last season. Nice to know there’s something going on in that noggin of his! Before Linc can blow his brains out, Kellerman offers him his last bit of saving intel: the whereabouts of an elusive Terrance Steadman.

Oh opening credits, how I have missed you! We return to Fox River where Bellick is the new fish of the yard. A bigger and scarier inmate named Banks offers Bellick his back in exchange for his dessert. Bellick complies during chow and gives up his brownie to Banks. But one isn’t enough. Well Bradley is no push over and beats Banks down with a battery filled sock and walks away. C.O. Stotle warns him that Banks is seeking revenge. Karma is a *****, isn’t it Bradley? He tries to remain strong but the trembling of his lip betrays him.

Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller and Sarah Wayne Callies were out in full force earlier this morning, making appearance after appearance to hype up Prison Break’s return tonight. Here’s a snippet from one of the interviews:

Interviewer: How is now dealing with the star power, the celebrity, the people making those kinds of cat calls at you?

Wentworth Miller: The only difference is that I get asked that particular question a lot more often. I haven’t changed a whole lot as a person. The way I live my life, I haven’t allowed myself to change. I’m lucky to get paid to do what I love.

Sarah Wayne Callies: (jokingly) He’s become such an egomanic. Don’t buy a word of that. Oh my God. He’s impossible. Awful.

Wentworth Miller: (laughs, slaps knee) It sounded good, didn’t it? I almost bought it!

Here’s the official synopsis from FOX: Michael, Lincoln and Kellerman face several roadblocks as they attempt to capture a protected Terrance Steadman; tragedy strikes the Mahone family; Bellick turns sour when a fellow inmate turns sweet on him; C-Note faces life on the run as a single parent; and T-Bag forces the Hollander family to play house with him.

Wentworth Miller could melt a thousands hearts (and then some) in his new photoshoot from Italian fashion/design magazine D: la Repubblica delle Donne (The Republic of the Women). He is featured in the “La Doppia Vita Di Un Bravo Ragazzo” (The Double Life Of A Good Boy) article. Went talks about everything from the second season of Prison Break to his private life.

Here are a few rough translations from Wentworth Miller’s interview with D:

• “Michael is an extreme example of devotion and loyalty. If one of my relatives ended up in prison, I probably would not stop writing petitions, making telephone calls, hiring the best lawyers. But I would not go beyond that. ………. you have to last six months in one true prison in order to face the first season of Prison Break.”
• “I do not even have time to breathe. The series absorbs all of my time and energy that I have. We are on the set from twelve to the seventeen hours a day, five days a week, and when the weekend arrives, I do not want to make other ……… watch the wall. I only eat, sleep and “recharge my batteries”. …….. I don’t find myself comfortable at bars or nightclubs. I prefer to be at home playing Scrabble or going to dinner with the friends. ….. all 14 seasons of Law & Order or The Simpsons.”

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller was out and about with familiar female friend Mariana Klaveno last night (pictured below, not above). Went and Mariana attended a film screening at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood.

Went’s affinity for London eatery “Wagamamas” is present by his t-shirt. His love for The Gap (I think) is also highlighted by his man cardigan.

Mariana is also an actress and was Went’s date for the Emmys last year. And is that Mariana’s wallet? Does Went have a sugar mama?

Here are some choice quotes from Went’s recent interview with the Australian Associated Press (AAP):

• On not having a MySpace page: “I have people calling my agent asking which myspace page is mine and there are about a dozen. And the fact is I’ve never been on MySpace. People posing as me is a little unsettling, a little frightening… it disturbs me on a profound level.”
• On his sexuality: “No, I’m not gay. I know these rumors are out there … I’m cool with the fact that they exist, I mean this is about fantasy. Certain people are going to have certain fantasies, if someone wants to imagine me with a woman, or a man or one of each that’s cool with me as long as you keep watching the show.”
• On his plans to direct his own movie: “I’m now at the stage of my career where it’s not just about the parts that are out there, but it’s about generating your own parts. I want to write the words that come out of my mouth and I want to be in the editing room, and choosing how my story is going to get told.”
