Where was Whitney Houston during the Grammys? Spending time with the family, of course (despite last week’s reports of Whitney wanting to accelerate her divorce with Bobby Brown).

Whitney, 43, soon-to-be-ex-husband Bobby, 38, and their 13-year-old daughter Bobbi Kirstina ate out together last night like one big happy family at Hollywood hotspot “Dan Tana’s.” The family reunion came to a close with a trip to the Beverly Hills Hilton after dinner.

Of note: Whitney did look radiant as she made it out to Clive Davis‘ Pre-Grammy party on Saturday.

Celebrities came out in droves for music mogul Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday night in Beverly Hills — Tyra Banks, Whitney Houston, Ellen DeGeneres with girlfriend Portia De Rossi, Ciara, Vanessa Minnillo with boyfriend Nick Lachey, and JC Chasez (below). Whitney is wearing Roberto Cavalli.

Justin Timberlake backed out of performing because he has the flu. I knew he didn’t look all there on Friday Night at the launch of “JT-TV.” Maybe he got the cooties from K-Fed when they hugged. Anything’s possible, right? I wonder if Justin’s going to be a no show at the Grammys…

Clive found a quick replacement for Justin and tapped Motown music legend Smokey Robinson to perform “My Girl.” (Sidenote: Clive signed UK’s Leona Lewis in a $10 million contract.)

The bigger the star, the less time they spend on the red carpet. It appeared that [Christina] Aguilera only stopped for still photographers and then just kept walking down the red carpet.

We were given warning, “Clive and Whitney are coming down. They’re not going to stop, so get your shot.”

And indeed, they didn’t. A reporter shouted, “Whitney, how are you doing?” She said, without missing a step, “Cavalli, Cavalli,” referring to her dress designer, who also attended the party.

Obviously not one of Tyra’s best looks…

• Dreamgirls starring Beyonce Knowles, will be showing exclusively for 10 days at the Ziegfeld in Manhattan before it is released nationwide on Christmas day, and ticket prices are expected to be $25.
