“I’ve seen about 12 productions over the past month, while back in New York,” Jon told USA Today.

Zach Braff will star in the off-Broadway comedy Trust this summer at NYC’s Second Stage Theatre.

The 35-year-old Scrubs star will join Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster and Ari Graynor in the new play by Paul Weitz, which explores the corrosive effect of power in relationships.

Previews kick off July 23 and Trust will run from Aug. 12 to Sept. 5.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin comes out to support director/actor Ed Burns at the Heineken-sponsored after-party for his new movie, Nice Guy Johnny, during the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival at NYC’s City Hall Restaurant on Friday (April 23).

Also in attendance: Ed’s wife (and model) Christy Turlington, Zach Braff, Melrose Place’s Colin Egglesfield and Nice Guy’s Kerry Bishé and Anna Wood.

Scrubs director and star Zach Braff speaks at a panel at the Vail Film Festival in Colorado over the weekend.

After a full day of skiing at Beaver Creek, Zach, 35, picked up his “Renegade” Award from the festival and joked about plans for his own awards ceremony - the “Brazilian Supermodel Awards” to take place at his home and honoring Gisele Bündchen this year. Ha!

Zach Braff has commented on the fate of Scrubs on his official Facebook page - and it’s not good news.

“Many of you have asked, so here it is: it appears that New Scrubs, Scrubs 2.0, Scrubs with new kids, Scrubbier, Scrubs without JD is no more. It was worth a try, but alas… it didn’t work,” Zach wrote yesterday afternoon.

Show creator Bill Lawrence told E! Online that while Scrubs “hasn’t been canceled, we’re all just assuming it’s over.”

Surrounded by worshippers, Scrubs star Zach Braff takes a few moments to stop and pray at the Jewish religious site, The Wailing Wall, on Father’s Day on Sunday (June 21) in Jerusalem, Israel.

On Friday, EW reported that Scrubs will return next winter with the action shifting “from the hospital to the classroom and make med-school professors of John C. McGinley’s Dr. Cox and Donald Faison’s Turk.”

Scrubs alums Braff, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes and Ken Jenkins will all make guest appearances.
