They’re Before The Door collaborators on multiple projects.” (Erik and Jessica won a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Children’s Script for their ABC Family special Another Cinderella Story starring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley.)

Heroes villain Zachary Quinto takes his canine pal Noah for a walk around the neighborhood on Saturday (February 20) in Los Angeles.

Celeb photographer Tyler Shields just had an interview with Popeater and talked about his first experience photographing Zach.

Tyler shared, “The first time I shot Zach, we had been friends, we’d hung out. He said to me ‘lets shoot,’ I was like ‘Perfect, I’ll pick you up at 10:30 at night,’ so I went and picked him up and I had my crew with me and we broke into a bridge that was being built. We climbed around, we shot all through the bridge, and he was like ‘Whoa, I’ve never done anything like this before.’

For those gamers out there, the 32-year-old lends his voice in for the just released video game Star Trek Online.

Zach plays a hologram medical doctor in the game while Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock in the original series, narrates in the game.

“I think this game has an opportunity to unify the Star Trek fans, many of whom really are serious gaming fans, with those who aren’t,” Zach told Reuters. “I think it’s great to unify these two groups and give people the opportunity to engage each other and play with each other online and have the experience of the game together.”

The 32-year-old Star Trek actor clarified that he will not be working on any Trek-related side projects until the next Star Trek film.

Instead, Zachary will be working with Steven Spielberg on a new biopic based on famed composer George Gershwin.

Star Trek star Zachary Quinto is set to play famed composer and pianist George Gershwin in a biopic at DreamWorks Pictures.

The 32-year-old actor will play the pianist, whose brother Ira was responsible for more than a dozen Broadway shows. DreamWorks will reportedly be supplying accent and dialogue coaches for Quinto.

The film is one of three projects that Steven Spielberg is looking to direct, Deadline Hollywood reports. Doug Wright (Quills) penned the script for the movie which could begin filming as soon as April. An official announcement could come later this week.

The 32-year-old actor headed home after a trip to New York City, where he checked out opening night of a play and shopped around the city!

TONIGHT, Zach will take the stage at Ojai’s Matilija Auditorium for Hearts on Fire with actors Sally Field, Ted Danson, Noah Wyle and more! The group will honor renowned playwright Terrence McNally.

The evening’s performance will be followed by a celebratory dinner, according to Playbill.com.

Earlier today, Zachary tweeted that while he’ll be continuing his role as Spock in future films, he won’t be taking part in auxiliary Star Trek projects in the meantime.

“I’ll be focusing my efforts on other projects & preparing to shoot the next film, which will be released in June of 2012… 2 yrs from now,” he wrote.
